I've just had my text off Forest (ORANGE ON THERE BEHALF-NOT BILLY DIRECTLY!!) with tomorrow's team news & it say's Shorey is Ineligible for the match tomorrow........

Is this a mistake on there part or failing that I can only imagine that Reading included a strange clause when they sold him to Villa about future appearences against them or while out on loan????

If anyone has any info on it id apreciate it.....

It's illegal to insert a no play clause into a permanent contract - although 'gentlemans egreements' occasionally stand.

Shorey can play tomorrow.

it was proberly a text that was late talking about the FA cup game, not the league game

I don't think you can sell a player and make sure they can NEVER play againest you again, no matter how many clubs you moved from. :wink:.

I thought it was a weird one, but its not an old text- I recieved about 2mins before I posted this topic......It has all the other team news about 6 possible recalls for the obvious people from Tues night....

Like I said- probably just an error on there part if no-one can shed any other light on any reasoning.

My mistake thought it was until end of month, did anybody see the Martin O'Neil interview saying he has somebody watching him every game, they also watch DVDs of all Forests games and selling him is not in his plans? haven't heard it myself but a friend at work was on about it. Hope O'Neil isn't watching out for any of our other players as well :ph34r:
