He turned us down when Megson came knocking because he didn't want to play for him.

If we are really seriously interested in him then I'd be astonished if he did not come.

Having said all that - I'm not entirely convinced he is a step forward...

Born in Nottingham. Went to Rotherham and was in their first team as teenager. Would love to play for Forest.

Centre back that can play at right back - long throw specialist.

Of course he is, he moved from Forest!

I think that our main problems lie in an inadequate scouting network, Pleast and Marthur. These forces combined mean that we probably won't end up signing anyone until the summer.
