I thought it was disgusting that Shane Redmond's move to Darlington (albeit on loan) has not been covered on the forum.

I don't know that it hasn't been covered on the forum, as I couldn't be arsed to check, but I am assuming it hasn't been. Even if it has, Redmond deserves two threads.

Hope he does well up there. I like Darlington, they have a very smart stadium.

It might look nice but they get 2,000 in a 25,000 ground! My Darlo mate tells me that they will never ever fill it because of road and parking restricitons. The maximum they can have is about 12,000, which is only slightly more than their old ground. A ground that was falling to bits but that had character.

Which will undoubtedly be the curse of the "Nigel Doughty Pie-in-the-sky Super Stadium" out in Gamston.

I'm sure the fact that they (Darlington) are playing w**k football at the moment also doesn't help in their efforts to fill the ground.

It (the stadium) just seems to have that something about it though. I don't know what exactly, but there is just something I like about it.
