Seven Championship Players Who’d be Perfect Premier League Deadline Day Signings

Lee Camp (Goalkeeper, Nottingham Forest)

Why buy?
While all the focus has been on Watford’s Scott Loach, Camp is perhaps the division’s best shot-stopper. He was named Forest’s Player of the Season last year.
Any reasons to be cautious?
He is not the most confident under high balls.
Can a deal be done?
Possibly. Camp is a key player but Billy Davies’ frustration at lack of transfer funds could lead him to sell in order to raise cash.

Would be good for . . .
Fulham. With Schwarzer on the way out, Camp would provide healthy competition for David Stockdale.

Do these journalists who post this know anything? As if Forest would sell their best and only real goalkeeper

Oh dear, selling our only experienced and proven goalkeeper would be suicidal, mind you its good that people are taking notice of him!

Kris Commons (Midfielder, Derby County)
Why buy?
All-action midfielder who has long had his admirers. Has made an excellent start to the season.
Any reasons to be cautious?
Has had problems with injuries.
Can a deal be done?
Possibly. Derby will be very reluctant to lose him but the fact that his contract expires at the end of the season will force them to listen.
Would be good for . .
Blackburn, who still look a touch short of creativity in the middle.

Dele Adebola (Striker/centre back, Nottingham Forest)
Why buy?
Would be hilarious.
Any reasons to be cautious?
About as mobile as a dead camel.
Can a deal be done?
Unlikely, Forest transfer acquisition are very busy after losing a lot of money betting that there would be no no-balls in Pakistan's recent cricket match.
Would be good for..
Clean sheet records of opposing clubs.
