Segregation of fans on Derby day

Whilst I was in Nottingham city centre, not once did I see anyone who appeared to be a Derby fan. Okay, I wouldn't have expected them to be walking along London Road but I thought there may have been some in the city centre (those who caught a bus for example)

How was this managed? Did the police restrict them to a certain area? How did they travel to this game in view of the fact there were no trains between Derby and Nottingham?

Sorry if this seems a dumb question but I find this quite interesting.

SuperRam, if you're reading this - then what were your experiences?

Actually, now that you mention it, you're absolutely right.

At no point, other than throughout the game of course, did I see any Derby supporters. Not that I was looking for any.

Credit to whoever for keeping all fans segregated. I have not heard of any trouble concerning rival supporters other than what we saw on the pitch.

Did they all go somewhere else to kill each other?

According to the NEP 8 fans were arrested. That's still pretty damn good imo !

Number of arrests means nothing these days. On the night of West Ham Millwall events there were just 10 arrests.

I know for a fact that the Sheep hid their 'colours'. I didn't see one in a Sheep shirt outside the ground. No doubt they'll be spitting and throwing things though when we go to their place.

Police was just taking pictures of fans and if you was doing something wrong im sure they will come and give you the 6 o'clock knock in a few weeks.

Apparently there were no trains after the game, not sure about before hand. I saw a few fans heading into the train station and moving down to the bus station instead but only small pockets of 2's or 3's

There are no trains at all between Nottingham and Derby throughout the entire weekend due to engineering works on the line. Trains are still running between London St Pancras and Nottingham, and Sheffield bound trains are being diverted.

I just assumed that most ppl that werent wearing either a Forest shirt or a red top in general were likely to be Derby fans. Id have thought that with a game this important ppl would wear their colours.
