Seating plan on NFFC Retail

For away games, this feature is totally pointless. It doesn't work.

For QPR away, I had a quick look at the seats available, and picked the ones I wanted, which were quite near the back, and in the centre of the stand.

Tickets arrived today, and I'm on Row A which is uncovered seating (front row??) ... and right in the corner.

Mildly annoyed, although not a big deal.

However, it could catch you out if you were using the seating plan to buy tickets near people you know.

Totally agree.
I did the same. Lower tier central near the back and then get sent row E uncovered. I sent the ticket office an email saying that if theres uncovered seats they should at least mention this and why should i purchasing my tickets on the day they went on sale get a uncovered seat.

If there told to sell at a certain discretion from the home club then OK but they could still split the stand up and put certain blocks on sale first so to accommodate this but OH no not forest.

Hope I'm not stating something you already knew, but when you look at the seating plan for QPR, the seats at the back are towards the bottom of the screen and the seats for the front are at the top.
When you look at the seating plan for home games its the other way round.

Yeah, I noticed that.

I've also realised that the seating plan for QPR shows 25 rows, with 40 seats on each row.
Surely, that's not the dimensions of a stand? The seat I have actually been allocated is like 100-and-something.

The letter that came with my tickets says "please note that the seating plan from which you purchased tickets has no bearing on the seats allocated"

Why are you not told this first?? Why have a seating plan at all??

I'm in the same situation as you Jack. I went out of my way to get my tickets early, and wanted to be sat at the back of the stand. Instead I get shafted with a front row, uncovered seat.

I know that 25 rows thing is a little poor. I'm block z4 so are reasonably centred and I'm row E which says uncovered but still they could at least state that some tickets in the lower tier are uncovered and that they have no choice but to sell the next available through the allocation.

Its not the fact iv been given this seat I'm moaning more the fact they didn't state it.

It sounds like turning up for a date with a foxy girl and her saying, "Please note the gorgeous, slim redhead you are currently plying with white wine has no bearing on what you'll actually end up in bed with at the end of the night"!

That particular disclaimer should be printed on your 10th pint glass as well.

If you look on the pitch when the ground map is up, it says, albeit in very small letters, that the seat you select has no bearing on where your tickets will be allocated.

As mentioned above though, what is the point in having the plan available if its not going to be used to allow fans to select seats?

One would imagine that it's some sort of work in progress?

I've experienced this in reverse once or twice.

Go out with a fat uggly bird, bet lot's of ale down my neck and end up shagging a good looking slim bird.
