They always use the number of the first ball in the Euromillions draw on Friday night. :)

So just rip that number out before you leave for the game and then you don't have to take your ST book. :)

Technically, the turnstile man is entitled to see you tear it from the book, but I've yet to see one ask.

Why do you need to know?

Just had a quick look at my ST and apart from the gold shiny forest emblem, the tickets could easily be forged as the tunstile people never really look at the tickets do they? Not that I would such a daft thing but I bet its come across some peoples minds lol

If you want to change your seat, you can take your ST to the TO and use one of your alternate vouchers. The operative in the TO will take that voucher & the matchday coupon and issue you a valid matchday ticket to use for the game.

It is still illegal to re-sell this matchday ticket

Ahhh, could you not contact the ticket office and explain that to them?

I'd throw in in the bin after the Derby game anyway

so don't worry.

Selling the ticket to a friend is illegal, do you really think it would be a good idea to explain to the ticket office that he intends to do it?

Having said that some of the guys in the ticket office aren't exactly the brightest people you're ever going to meet, maybe they won't know the rules.

that is being very nice to them.

I was buying my tickets for the Derby replay, asked one of the young ladies if I could buy my ticket and my younger brothers with only my season ticket.

her reply: 'Do you know where he sits?'

me: Yea! next to me.

Their concept of service is shocking too, they will just get up and walk away into the back when they have served a customer instead of actually getting rid of a queue.

terrible.

it usually goes in alphabetic order e.g Barnsley = 1
Birmingham = 2

Had a season ticket for more years than I care to remember, never ever thought of the process involved in the number ticket voucher........easy really when you look at it like that. ::)

that cant work 'cus crystal palace is team9 and i still have ticket9

 I've always held the belief that they follow an alphabetical system as well. There must be SOME logic, surely?!

*cough* it's *cough* number 09 *cough* (although there is a possibility that it's 22).

I upgraded Flagman's Dad's ST today and those are the only two mismatched numbers in our books.

Fairly sure the ticket removed was ended with a 9, but I wasn't looking too carefully.

Think your right. I've still got number 9 in my ST but number 22 has been used already
