Hmm, not sure they could justify an increase.

Cost of living is falling, hence people haven't gotten their standard 'cost of living' salary adjustments (on the whole) this year.

We're in the grips of a credit crunch, and people will find it hard enough to justify the cost. Putting the price up, even a bit, will turn more people away than the football attracts.

I'd expect to see a drop in uptake if they go up.

One thing that stops me from answering this is the fact that the BBC now has the rights to cover the Football League, how much money will Forest get from TV rights from the BBC?

If Forest are getting X amount of money from TV rights for being in the Championship maybe Forest could afford to freeze or lower season ticket prices.

Common sense dictates either a freeze or a slight decrease given the economic climate.

Therefore I expect to see a hefty increase of 10-15%

Up by at least £6 as the club will no reduce the prize in relation to vat.

Based on my season ticket last year of £310 the club got 263.82, if it stops the same they'll get 269.58

But CPI is still positive hence prices are rising all be it at a lower rate..... RPI is in deflation only because that includes house prices. Although interest rates are down on what they were before and so people wont be paying as much on their mortgages.

I'm going to give the club the benefit of the doubt and say that prices will be frozen.

I look forward to graduating, because if I can get a job north of London that pays quite well and means I get Saturdays off, a season ticket is all mine.

Obviously this won't be until the 2010/11 season, but I can look forward to it.

One would think the prices would freeze or, in some lovely show of appreciation, come down slightly, but this is Nigel Doughty we're talking about - so we'll see an increase of about 5%

But fear not, we'll be "serious about survival."

Question is, are you?

I think they will freeze prices. As Rich said, how can they justify an increase especially given the current economic climate!

Put a fiver on this outcome, gentlemen.

The voice of the fountain of all knowledge has spoken, and in my humble opinion, that's nailed on.
