those of you that are season ticket holders have you received any kind of communication from the club informing you of price changes and the dates for renewals ect?

up to now I have received sod all which isnt a major problem as the info was on this site and the o/s but you would of thought the club would of at least emailed me sent me a text or at least posted some kind of renewal pack out.

am I the only person not to received one of the above or has forest been incredibly lazy once again.

I haven't received anything, but then i have all the info i need on the website. They'd be wasting paper by sending me a booklet. The club have said it would be a couple of weeks before the packs are sent out though

Nothing here, Rich, and as far as I can tell Flagman's Dad has had nothing at his address either.

Can't really complain about 3%, honestly. I guess it bites if you've shifted from one concessionary threshold to another, though. :(

mines gone down so I aint complaining, just thought it was wierd that after such a great season they havent jumped on it with renewal packs ect to get us all signed back up asap.

This is Forest we're talking about.

They don't really 'do' marketing.

The renewal packs have been pretty good the last few years.

TBF to the club, they said they had to wait to see which division we were in before sending stuff out, 'cause of the different sponsors.

Calm down guys.
3 things I would like to say.
1. I am more pi55ed off that they didnt post anything, like a LOYALTY pack for buying a season ticket in March, .
2. I dont need a renewal pack, ITS ON THE WEBSITE.
3. Maybe the reds are trying to save the planet and are saving paper?

Come on guys, we are in 2010.

Seriously though I feel this is a totally unfair Criticism of the club.

I guess theyre ashamed for calling my seat a 'Best' seat now and upping it over £30 but then I suppose now the Tories are in all the Capitalist bastards will use it to the full. The ****'s know I will renew and give nothing for loyalty to the club. Supporter since '64 and season ticket holder since '74.

I think its quite arrogant to expect your customers to seek renewal information, I know its 2010 so a simple email letting me know they are selling renewals or a text would have been nice. there are people that dont use forums or check the official site religiously.

I just think its a very simple example of how forest get there marketing so wrong at times

Renewal packs are bound to come out as ok we are in a technical era but we all know there are some oldies out there without internet access and so the only way of contacting them is snail mail.
What I hope (but probably not going to happen) is that when it comes to sending out these packs they know who has renewed already so do not have to send anything to them.
I would rather they did that and tried to save money and resources that way but we all know they will just mass mail everyone.

My dad rarely uses the internet (check his post count on here...).

Should he have to seek that renewal info himself when the Club has his postal address, and wants him to part with a wodge of cash?

Would it not be more courteous for the club to write and ask "Dear Flagman's Dad, would you be kind enough to stump up some of your hard-earned cash, up-front, with no guarantee of on-field quality..."

Perhaps if the club was more interested in its fans*, it could have asked a question along the lines of "How would you prefer us to contact you: Phone, Post, Email, SMS" at some time in the recent past...

*and the environment, for that matter...

I've had en email today telling me I can renew online or wait for my renewal pack in a few days...no problem at all with that

Just a letter would do me, I don't need a brochure. That said, I'm quite content with internet-based contact (Forest also emailed me).

It should be relatively simple for them to email folks who they have email addresses for, then send a letter to the rest.

I would agree, received my renewal pack today too, and thought it was very well put together; the pack itself folding out in to a lovely poster of one of the most popular goals of the season!

The only odd thing was this year's letter was unsigned, whereas last year's was signed by Billy Davies if I remember correctly?

Still, it's a nice enough gesture and I'll renew my ST in the next week or so!

Packs arrived today for each of the vicarettes but nowt for the vicar. Perhaps my sins have been revealed.
