Around me there's often one in 30 seats empty.

Only the really high interest bigger games when it's not the case.

From the club perspective - they make more money when it's resold both for the ticket exchange/ upgrade and potential food , bev and merch sales. And a chance for some fans who believe they are locked out to attend

Simpler to publish the number of people through the turnstiles rather than tickets sold , Not sure why the fixation and advantage of publishing the largest number

Those who I know are SC holders. ( I don't know the folk occupying seats three or four rows in front)

I'd profile (those who I know) as wealthy fans who like having a SC so they're guaranteed a seat, tend to be individuals who attend games but can't be bothered with the faff of reselling their ticket and don't need the extra cash
 
I think that 1000 thing is inflated because half the ground left early v Wolves 😂
 
We have two season cards in our family, which we share amongst four of us. Having 2 kids, sometimes their weekends are taken up by other activities, so we sometimes make a last minute decision as to who is going to go and sometimes I rotate with my partner depending on our availability with work patterns. Feel there could be a lot of fans in this situation, so we're thinking of buying a cheap phone and downloading one season card on that device; this will save a lot of faffing with forwarding on tickets etc. Is this against the rules?

In theory the non season ticket holders should join the members scheme so the season cards can be transferred using the club website.
I'm not sure if the club will then charge you each game for transferring them though?

You don't get charged for forwarding the ticket to another member (unless that has changed this season). And it's pretty straight forward to do.

Man Utd now rowing back on their ST bans, probably due to fan pressure and the bad press.

And lets not forget that the biggest touts are now the clubs themselves, taking £45 ST returns and reselling for £150.

I don't know. I've not seen that stated anywhere and I have only done a few games each season to other members. For the other games I have not been able to make I have sold on the exchange. Have never not sold one before, although Villa took 12 days before someone took it on the morning of the game.

Manini confirmed his legs had gone in his first game for us. Mattrecano was injured for almost all of his time here. Petrachi looked like he possibly had something about him but didn't hang around long enough to really prove it.

£40, which is the price per game cost of the SC. Which obviously means the club gets more cash. And the £40 is just set off against the cost of the SC next season, so I don't actually get any cash back.
