SCOTT CARSON

What ever he said looked like it worked. If West Brom nick the title by 3 points or a playoff place then it was well worth the yellow card. Although I don't like to see that sort of thing.

Call him what you like, he kept a clean sheet today. (albeit rather more by luck than any particular endevour on his part.)

It's quite a sad reflection on English goalkeepers that he's managed to play for England. Looked very suspect.

I have never seen such a poor england keeper!! He was shocking today and we should've taken the shots he fumbled Adebola missing a sitter stands out!!

But we didn't

I noticed this against Reading aswell but when West Brom got a free kick today I could've sworn Camp took his position in front of the wall he had set up ??? The free kick where he parried it wide early on. Just can't understand why any keeper at any level would do that.

Carson is a solid goalkeeper with Premiership potential. But he does mechanically drop one in every six shots.

disgrace to the england shirt, crap goalie we shoudl have taken advantage two or three times from his mistakes, dropping adebolas shot, fumbling another shot near to one of our players etc

It was more than that today!

I rated him highly a few years ago. Ever since that croatia game though he has dropped in quality.

He was good at collecting crosses.

Clearly a fantastic all round keeper and certainly better then we have.

I was amused when a chorus of "You'll never play for England" chimed up. Most people missed the irony that we have Smith and Camp who are both much less likely to play for England than Carson.

I like him, he's a good keeper and did his job annoyingly well today bar one fumble which he got away with. I would hope we'd have better choice for England which we have at the moment but not greatly so.

I'm neither a fan or a hater of Scott Carson, but one of the highlights of the day came for me when the guy sat next to me shouted 'Oi Carson, what are you doing on the pitch?, you cant even tie your own f***ing shoelaces!'. I'm still laughing about it now,, i'd hate it if he ever moved seats as life in the Trent Upper would be dull without him lol

Respect to 'Brighton Boy' for the entertainment 8)

That was a good one! In response to "England's number 1" from the WBA fans who obviously counted 1 - Robert Green, 1 - Ben Foster, 1 - Paul Robinson, 1 - Joe Hart, 1 - David James, 1 - Scott Carson...
