Also a Welsh Liverpool supporting friend of mine sent the audio of that story to me thinking it was funny and I told him it was bollocks (based on what Hill said) and he happened to see Saunders pissed up at Chester races that week and called him on it. And he admitted it was bollocks and said ‘so f***ing what he’s dead isn’t he?’ So he’s a MASSIVE ####. And even my Liverpool supporting Welshman agrees.
I hope he gets dropped from everything the smug faced mullet ####.

Hence the "bonus round". I wouldn't have him on par with either, but his arrival with Ships marked a real downturn in our D1 to D2 shift, so I associate it with that time & embodiment of decline.

Having spent time living and working in Chester, a bit of a Premier League footballers hotspot I can hand on heart say that between the two only Saunders can be a genuine ****.

We used to slip in the Grosvenor Hotel in Chester. Part of my morning training run was round the top of the wall to the racecourse and 7 times round it. Chester is a round course, one mile per circuit. Happy days.
