I've heard Sam lives above what was the Key Late shop in Main Road, Gedling, he also eats at the place that used to be 'Choices'.

He says himself that in the long term it will have benefits, so that should be the priority.

We shouldnt be paying his wages though.

Unnecessary injections. Seems like the Chelsea physios have slipped up on this one. Hope he is back soon though, class act.

He has problems with his knees (and it's both of them , not just one but it's the right knee that caused him to retire) since the age of 12 , he suffers from a degenerative condition so there's simply no quick fix. I just don't think he will ever be able to play for a whole season. At best ,he will play 1 game , rest 2-3 games or he'll break down again. If we are paying him 14k to sit on the treatment table , it's money that is better spend getting in someone else. He and Jenas has been a waste of money , Ayala also needs to step up soon.

Feel really sorry for him as he would potentially be an England contender if he had a fully functioning knee. A real shame.

It's costing us even more than his wages, because we probably wouldn't have had to get Hutton in if he was fit, so it's costing us twice.
I bet Chelsea are laughing, they're getting us to pay the wages of their crocked player.

Apparently they ain't laughing.
Guardian reporting they are blaming us for not rehab not going well!

It seems Chelsea adopted the attitude that as they are not paying his wages they would give him an injection which would be good for the long term, but would aggravate the short term.

This seems to be the point of contention - Forest are paying most of his wages and want him playing and treatment could have been different allowing him to be playing now, but Chelsea took the decision of not caring about the short term and giving him the injection (which he did not need really) which will help him long term, but not short.

Thats my take on things.

I think it's perfectly reasonable for Chelsea to take the long term view on Hutch's treatment, but I think it's then a bit off to expect another club to pay his wages as part of a loan deal when they don't have the use of his services because of that long term treatment. Kind of makes the loan pointless for all parties expect Chelsea.

If Chelsea are blaming us we should just terminate the loan and leave whatever recovery he needs to make on their heads the f***ing cocks

I imagine there will be something written into the contract though that states if we wanted to terminate then x amoutn would have to be paid and if it wasnt then the new Forest owners are just as incompotent as the last. Lets take a injury prone player on loan with no option to send him back should any complications arise, nah boss he'll be fine

Do we know how much of his wages we are paying?

It's shrouded in mystery, like most things. Anyone who says otherwise has footballrumours.com as a bookmarked website. It's naive to think that we wouldn't have put an injury clause in there

Not knocking SOD here but if you keep taking in players who are well known to be crocks then what do you expect? JJ, Hutch, Ayala and Ward (I think)all have bad records - it's hardly a shock that these problems persist. Appreciate we get a 'better' player than we may otherwise by virtue of the injury problems, but the injuries aren't just going to vanish. Exciting as it is, it's a strange strategy for now, would have thought a slowish build would have been more logical meh

The only reason that they're available is because of their injuries. It's worth taking them on for a bit, as long as they're not the only option.

Get them both fit for the derby game.

Yes. Would be excellent to have both fit and available for that match (as we won't have Adlene as he's on Algerian duty).
