bitter sweet sounds like we might send him back but not because of the major injury he has had which is what we were all worried about

I would think that Chelsea would want to manage the treatment themselves considering Sam's history, real shame for Sam and for us, he would have been one of the best players in this league.

Still, if rehab goes well there is no reason he won't come back to us.

I'd imagine if we bring another right back in that would stop us bringing Hutch back in again.

I don't think we have a problem at right back with Halford and Moloney, but Sam is one of those massive talents that you can't turn down.

He looked really good, real shame - wish him all the best. I cant see him coming back to us though

If we're not getting Sam back we must make a move to take on another centre back.

I'm still sticking to my Halford can't play centre back mantra. Ayala and Collins are a fine pairing but the former is susceptible to the odd knock or five, so we need cover.

I hope Hutchinson comes back from this. Seems like a nice lad, and is very talented player.

Hopefully if we cancel his loan, he'll get himself back to fitness and return in a couple of months.

Looks like its no return for Sam as BBC Sports has us signing Elliot Ward on emergency loan.
Reading Ward's c.v. concerns me that we are bringing in yet another talented but injury prone defender.
Good luck to Sam - I hope we do get him back at some point this season.

Its a real shame, he seems a determined guy so I expect he will get back to some fitness and hopefully come back to Forest. I feel for him because he has a career ending injury and lesser players would have packed it in long before...

He would have been a very good loan. A shame it didn't work out. At least he played a game and scored a goal. Didn't we loan a goalkeeper a few years back who injured himself in training on the first day and was never heard of again?

Would be an England international if he wasn't so injury prone. Let's hope he can get himself fit by at least January.

Goddamn. Best defender we've had for years. Shorey was only here for a few games too - such torment.

Would be gutted if he can't come back to us. Easily the defender in the division. When I heard Mourinho called him the next John Terry, I thought it was only said to boost his confidence or something... but he really is that good.

Like said above, if he stayed injury free he'll be an England international, without a doubt.

I was never that excited about his signing to be honest. He was always either going to be injury prone, or if he did find his top form we'd only be getting him game time for the benefit of Chelsea. I'd be much more excited about giving Lascelles some game time, seems odd how little he's played so far gived how much we supposedly rate him.

Lascelles is still a prospect. A year in the development team with Pembo will do him good. They must be wary of throwing him in at the deep end before he's ready.

Sorry to say Hutchinson is a walking box of broken biscuits.

Yeah, and its a huge shame. Hes a very talented player, particuarly to say how well he fitted into the side despite barely having played any football in the last few years.

Hopefully he'll be okay, and make a big comeback

Be a shame if we've seen the last of him. He's done more then Gunter did in 3 seasons.

This is my point though, harsh as it may sound, can we really be arsed to keep 'hoping' that a crocked player makes a comeback. Why bother, we've shown we can get a replacement in, and we've got Lascelles and Moloney in reserve. I would rather let Chelsea's physios worry about Hutchinson, although he's clearly very talented.
