I'll be taking my 9 year old , same as every home game.
If i thought he'd be in any kind of danger I wouldn't even consider taking him.

Tell her the streets around the ground are like a warzone and once inside its every man (woman) for himself. Thats what I told my Girlfriend (now wife) and she has never been to a single Forest game with me. She still thinks its like the 1980s and Im quite happy for that to continue ;D Trust me its for the best because once you've taken them they will think they should come every week and you don't want that

When we first started going out together in 1975 my wife came to all the games, home and away, and loved it. As the family grew she stopped going but now I am in the wonderful position of having a wife (32 years married) who completely understands my obsession with Forest and never says a word about me (and my son) going to every game.

Boxing Day - traditionally a day when we vist the family could have been difficult this year but no problem! Go to the match and visit the in-laws after - bless her!

I go with mine every week, usually it's quite good but sometimes she asks silly questions like once if there was a limit to the amount of yellow cards you can get in one match before you get a red  And this week she was in a reet strop which made enjoying the match tricky. Great most of the time! Promise!

I've been thinking about bringing my girlfriend to Nottingham, and the only thing I'm worried about is lost time on the beer, since she will have to touch every single outfit in every single shop she's into! I've promised myself a thousand times that I don't want to be the grumpy idiot, two steps behind when out shopping... but I just can't deal with it! :)

We don't regard this game as a big match.

Because for us it isn't

It is for Leicster who have no genuine rival but they'll be harmless Im sure.

This is one thing I'm looking forward to when I start a family - taking the kid to games. Obviously unless we end up moving to Nottingham, it might not be Forest. Still though, I'm looking forward to it all.

Leicester do have a rival actually, Coventry! Coventry try and hate Villa Brum West brom Wolves Walsall Shrewsbury etc and no one cares, as Leicester try and hate Forest Dirby Burton Nuneaton etc and again no one cares!

HAHA Both teams are DUMP! Let them squabble together for the right to be the most small most unattractive and most not cared about team in midlands football!
