I wouldn't bother coming, it's a long way to watch your team lose...

Council offices , opposite the ground(ish) just before the Trent bridge if you are coming into Nottingham from the M1 on the left.

When I get a lift from my friend, he always parks in West Bridgford for free and with no hassle. Parking places can go earlyish though, it took us ages to find somewhere last week!

You can park at Meadow Lane (Notts County's ground) and numerous other businesses close by for about £3 to £4. For the uninitiated probably good places to park.

A friend had his car broken into one game earlier in the season in a car park near Meadow Lane so wouldn't recommend parking around there.

I'd advise to park on the Embankment right on the riverside of the Trent. Easy to find and I've never heard of any trouble.

There are plenty of free street parking places around both the Forest and the Notts grounds so you shouldn't have any problems if you're arriving in good time.

If you're wishing to partake in an alcoholic beverage or two, many local pubs only allow home supporters but there are one or two welcome away fans. Someone will be kind enough to advise which ones, I'm sure.

Not many will welcome Cardiff fans, unfortunately their reputation precedes them.

The shitty bar at Notts County is your only hope on that front!

The only trouble I have seen at Forest was about 5 years back when we brought about 2,400, and we have only had trouble at Chelsea this season, ( which was expected with 6,600 travelling) so our reputation is improving.

That Forest Cardiff game was a great day out remember it well.

As for parking i always park near notts county ground for £3 never had no problems and there is someone who is at the car park so should be no trouble with anyone breaking into cars etc.

The best place to park your car with security in mind is the Notts County Stadium car park (Meadow Lane) who charge £4 and they have 24 hour security. Its all fenced off and the security guard told me they lock the gates whilst the match is in progress.

on the away side of the ground you ahve the rugby club that charges a fiver to park in. Also there is a huge housing estate and its safe to park any where around there. Get there early if you want a free space.

You can try near meadow lane but if you are in a car that hasnt got the latest alarm technology , your likely to have it broken into.

I always park on or around Meadow Lane, as i have done for about 6 seasons now, and not once have i seen a car thats been broken into, or ever had mine done.

Can you park at the ground ??
Sorry; you can't park at the ground but this is the nearest & the safest place.

The parking is for the County Council Office workers and also the Cricket Fans on match days in the summer & football fans during the season.

£5:00 to park but 2/3 mins. walk to the ground.

You may need to click on the map to enlarge it.

No wonder my post count..

Agreed. I'd never been to Nottingham until the first time I watched a Forest game. The Embankment was remarkably easy to park on and find (as long as you get there early enough)
