Yes. He had some good qualities though he was frustrating.
I think he would be a good addition to the squad.

Liked him, mainly because his approach was a welcome relief in a mind numbing season. Struggled with his end product & finishing though.

Saw enough of his attacking moves break down prematurely to suggest he'd put more pressure on a struggling defence, given the high line we're playing.

It worked perfectly against Derby and away at Boro, for instance. That win against Derby was one of the best nights at the CG in recent years.

If he found more of a balance and used those tactics as a plan b when necessary, or as a tactic in a tough away game, it could have worked.

It got to the point where we were just sitting back and inviting every team on, you can't play every game that way and expect success.

Leicester won the Premier League playing like that.

I agree we needed more balance but he had a very limited attack. As for plan b - we played a few different ways last season depending on the opposition. The home wins against the likes of Bolton, Reading and Fulham weren't primarily counterattack. The home game against Boro was very attacking - too much so in the first half, resulting in us being hit on the counter time after time.

Yes. 18th in terms of possession and the worst passers in the PL.

Hardly had the ball all season, but they didn't need it. Obviously having fast and clinical forwards makes a huge difference.

Facts are facts. I watched Leiecester a fair few times last season and I never once saw them have more possession than the opposition.

Yes they are & the fact is if Leicester were chalk last season we were cheese.

It's ludicrous to even try and suggest similarity beyond very, very, very basic levels eg. both teams had players with toes on their feet.

It's an amazing achievement for the guys and their country. Absolutely incredible. Although it's kinda shocking from a Forest perspectve that the likes of, say, Milenkovic won't make the WC while Nuno da Costa will. :ROFLMAO:

Good for Ryan, did run his heart out for us just a shame he couldn’t finish! Some of his misses were out right boggling.

Nuno da Costa has done well for himself, been scoring out in Turkey probably on a decent wedge as well considering he moved to Bashakshir, one of the other Istanbul teams (directly linked to their government).

Fair play to this lad. He's just captained his country to their greatest ever sporting moment with a draw against Spain. Did his best for us at a difficult time in our history even though he wasn't brilliant. Delighted for him.

He came around the same time as Nelson Oliveira when Dougie Freeman was manager. Had one decent game I remember v QPR, might even have been his debut.
