Rumours

From the office of official rumours:

01 Jan 2011 14:11:21
Nottingham Forest will sign Adam Hammill later this week along with Ryan Bertrand's loan deal being extended till the end of the season. Tudgay will also sign permantly and this deal has been already agreed. Robbie Findley who played against England in the world cup has already signed subject to a work permit. Forest are also targeting several strikers and have made a 2m bid for Millwalls Steve Morison. Norweigan Jonathan Parr will also join for a nominal fee after a succesful trial. Robert Earnshaw, Nathan Tyson and Gui Moussi will all sign new contracts.

Kelvin Wilson will most likely be leaving to Celtic wether in January or in the summer. Joe Garner will be sold when he returns from his loan spell at Huddesfield. And Julian Bennet will be assesed when he returns from Crystal Palace as he also is out of contract. Finaly Paul Smith will leave the city ground after being told he may leave when he finds a new club.

At least the rumours are all relatively consistent!

This thread should be titled Whiffy Transfer Bollocks, don't you know anything?

Stupid, muppet style thread - leave Football Manager alone for a wee minute.

Signing new players isn't ALWAYS the answer!

Forest have had scouts watching David Templeton (Hearts) but not much chance of getting him as Hearts want 15m! plus were one of about 15-20 clubs who are monitoring him.

He would be ace. Not 15m worth of ace but still pretty darn good....

..that said, it'll never happen.

Nothing major but thought I'd share the following:-

Woolford bid accepted. Will be discussing terms early next week.

Forest will extend the loan of Bertrand until the end of the season. Player doesn't want to join permanently. Also Bennnet to join Palace on a perm deal.

Billy wants to keep Tyson, Earnie and Adebola.

McCleary to go out on loan if Billy lands his targets.

Garner won't play another game for Forest.

Also been told not to worry regarding Tudgay deal is done and also Findley will def get a work permit. Forest have had scouts watching David Templeton (Hearts) but not much chance of getting him as Hearts want 15m! plus were one of about 15-20 clubs who are monitoring him.

How did you hear all this?

probably the glasgow to east mids early morning bmi flight, front seat tickets

So you're telling us, Hearts are wanting £15m for him and we are monitoring the situation lol

Why would we be wasting time & money on watching a player that we have NO CHANCE of buying - unless Marthur goes in quickly with a opening bid of around 200K we've not a cat in hells chance. lol

Please tell me why we are scouting/watching him? I'm starting to believe you're telling us a load of Bxxxxxxs.

Perhaps the scouts were watching before the £15m price tag was announced?

When, in 2001.

Keep an eye on it - the whole of the Hearts team ain't worth 15 million quid.

By the way:
The largest transfer fee paid for a Scottish footballer is Craig Gordon. Gordon joined Sunderland for £9 million.

Also British record for a keeper.

.

I've heard Tyson is not prepared to wait and is in talks with Reading. Could be bollox but the HP is well connected.

Tys should leave. We have Tudders, we have Findley, we have earnie, we have mcgoldrick, we have dex, we have adebola. BD plays all of them in their proper positions. I know Findley is unproven.

I just don't see Tys fitting in anymore.

Be sad to see him go in some ways but if better players come in then it's for the best.
