robin hood suite

wes for england

First Team Squad
I was wondering if any of you could help me. This may sound a bit stupid but is the Robin Hood suite in the Trent End where the pitch diner used to be? My old school is having a "christmas social" there on the 21st thats all and i wasn't quite sure where it was thats all. Cheers

Robin Hood suite is in the far corner of Main stand car park ...... where the players and official's park their car's and underneath the Players Lounge.

The pitch diner is still going!

Thanks, much appreciated. I thought the pitch diner was still going but i wasnt sure as it was the only place i could think where the robin hood suite could be as i dont go around main stand because my season ticket is in VCC. Has anyone been to the robin hood suite before? If so what's it like? How much are drinks?

I went there in the seventies. A pint of bitter was 30p. If you were struck for cash, you could drink pints of mild at 28p instead.

The Pitch diner is on the other side of the ground. It's all new and modern. I once saw Steve Stone in there.

I'm going in there with my Dad against Crystal Palace. It was originally scheduled on my 18th against Bristol, but we managed to swap it for this, can't wait!

I've mended the ice machine in there, back in the Stan Collymore days.

Great place for insider club gossip.

Can you go in the Pitch Diner? I mean, just go in there and have a drink/something to eat? Or do you have to be a member of something special or be sitting in those undercover seats in the Trent End? Is it open when there isn't a match on? The place has been open about 15 years and I've never seen this information advertised.

I think it's only open on match days.. it used to be a regular restaurant that was open on non-matchdays.. I remember going there for my bro's birthday one year.

Is it any good?

when it 1st opened it was open during the week as a sports bar but now its only open on matchdays. Ticket details are under the hospitality section on the OS - think its called the Castle club.

It's hospitality in its loosest term. £40 for use of the bar, a programme, seat behind the glass in the Trent End and the option to order food from the bar menu

EDIT: darn you Winnits and your speedy finger

What we're doing for Steve's birthday next year is a step up from that isn't it?

And to answer Caly it's now a bit shit. Expensive, and a seat in the Trent End behind glass rendering even more devoid of atmosphere than the rest of the stand!

Is it even possible to have an area of the ground more devoid of atmosphere than the Trent End?

A couple of step's up from that. Think the next package after that is the 1865 club under the main stand then the one we're getting :)

We get a meal before the game and have to wear smart clothes you don't get food in the 1865
