Who would you rather have? if you had to pick 1 or the other what 1 would you want?

Rob Jones who was amazing in the SLP,would cost around 800-1m

or

Matt Mills a good defender,would cost 2m-2.5m from what donny chairman wants for him..


I say lets get rob jones and put other bit money that would of cost to get mills on another player.

Rob Jones - 'Amazing'(?) in a league where I reckon LTLF could compete. Leeds were rumoured to be in for Rob Jones last season, and I was equally unimpressed with his credentials then.

Matt Mills - Defender with championship experience, and has been on the books at a big club (Citeh).

You get's what you pays for.

It turned out he also had a Dog's concentrations levels, and the speed of a particularly slow mollusc.

I would like to see us sign both, but in a straight fight (no knives, no guns) I reckon Jones would win.

I saw Rob Jones against the Old Firm and he looked immense, just the sort of warrior you want in your defence at this level. Considering he'd be much cheaper and he provides vital experience, I'd definitely take him instead of wanging £2.5m on one player in Matt Mills, who could just turn out to be a dud.

With £2m we should certainly be looking at getting more than one good Championship player, in my opinion.

I think we should offer the £2 million to Preston for Sean St Ledger. There are plenty of other targets we can chase.

Best centre half in the division for me. Certainly come a long way since big ron manager!! :nowink:
