There was another thread somewhere about out of contract players but I wouldn't mind seeing an update of those still available on a free becuase as you say there muct be some gems in there.

I think Lauren has gone to a French club though someone mentioned.

Where did you find out these players were still on a free, were there anymore on the list?

I still think Jerome Thomas and Glen Little might be worth having in on a trial if they're still available although neither are defenders. lol

Forgot to put out of all those I think I'd most like us to trial Volz and were there many left backs as I'm still hopeful Gunter will sort out our right back woes.

It may just be because somebody mentioned the word pedigree earlier but my first thought was he's got a good pedigree.

I think he's do a great job at this level if he could stay fit, from the sounds of it though that if might just be a bit too big an if.

That's a pretty good site.

Did a search just for all free transfers and Godwin Antwi popped up at Liverpool on a free, I know he's 21 so we'd have to pay a fee if we went for him and I'm not saying we should but wasn't he highly rated by Liverpool only a year or two back, seems strange they're letting him go although I suppose if you haven't looked like breaking through at that age it makes sense.

i never realised this site existed, and you can actually make enquiries on there to sign them! i wonder if thats how clubs/managers actually do it? Saw on there that Michael Ball is actually available on a free transfer (man c, left back), 29 now but experienced. Also Beuzelin, coventry central mdifielder just last season, and even eugen bopp! must have been released from crewe last season!

Dean Bowditch is on there too, I remember him scoring a cracker on Sky when he was about 17 and people were rating him higher than Darren Bent who was there at the same time.

Also, noticing Bopp I wonder if Notts County might look at him with the connection as manager.

I nearly just tried to sign Matt Lockwood up to my 5 a side team. ;D

Didn't have to heart to follow through with it though, can imagine the scene as he gets excited when he receives a call from his agent about an offer, only to be told to report to Loughborough Leisure centre at 7:30 on sunday and to take his £3 match fee.
