He would be a great signing for us, I feel like any negativity is based on people judging past experience, not the actual player. He ticks every box for me.
Likewise, but he just needs to sort his Barnet out. The lad has had a shocker there.

Agreed. Unfortunately he's been a victim of Pep's rotational blah blah. He's currently another victim of being versatile so he's never been able to nail anything down. I'd like to see him settling into one area with us.

How would you view him compared to Aina, considering we targeted Lewis last year as our primary ‘RB’ option ?

For £20m i'd be ok with it, at £30m I think we could get someone a bit more developed

He's a good player but his value is mostly based on potential, when we've been able to find players like Netz for £2m I wouldn't be rushing into Rico Lewis at ~£30m

Very similar to Neco in his first season really. Probably very slightly better but has the defensive issues that we initially saw with Neco.

I'd be very happy with him as a rotation for Aina. He's very good in tight areas with the ball and his passing is excellent. He's a different type of full back but I don't view that as a negative.

I’d be more than happy too, was more wondering why Lewis would join if he was going to back up Aina. I think he’ll want to start if he joined, I don’t see Aina getting dropped, could he be more utilised in the CM role and flipped over to RB if needed.

We’d then also bring another CM in

Yeah. Meh.

Not good enough for Nottingham Forest.
he was hardly instrumental in any of those winning teams.

started 4 league games this year lost 3 and won the one against Wolves, Physically weak and no position. A poor man's Mcatee on no doubt huge wages.

Christ is there a full moon or something - the amount of sniping, nit picking and general mardiness going on at the moment is getting a bit tedious.

Can't believe I'm typing this but we're all Forest fans and generally good eggs so we can please disagree if we have to without making every thing we say into a hill we are prepared to die on.

This would be a great signing. BUT.......where are the fresh links to warrant this much debate?

Is it still the rumours from August of last year?

Feel like I'm missing something.

There was a link by some outlet to him being wanted by but not one of the main ones.

I think that might be why I’m swaying away from liking the idea of it.

Doesn’t have a nailed on position. Given our style of play do we need a technically good player that is neither fast or strong? Feel we have enough of those already.

Would be a relatively high fee and wages for a player that likely wouldn’t be a starter.
