If I had the choice, I would rather Lewis that Luiz.
He’s English, can cover midfield and full back, and is a f***ing tidy player.

Defo would still be back up, such is a majesty of Mr Selsthe way some clubs are pissing about we could end up with Donnnaruummmaaa as a back up keeper, lol
I hope he doesn't, it closes at 7pmWe might be over hyping Lewis a bit, tidy he might be but world beater he certainly is not.
Nuno doesn't appear to want to wait till 11pm on deadline day for a FB option. If this isn't a goer, we will move on quickly.
7pm, what is this woke nonsense.I hope he doesn't, it closes at 7pm![]()
It is only wrong because your perception that a left footer should be on the left & vice versaI'm going to commit heresy here, but I would like to see Neco and Ola fight it out for the RB spot, and then two natural Left Backs brought in to compete with each other. Along with Luiz and a goalkeeper, that'd complete the squad for me to a standard I'd be delighted with.
Really don't like having players, especially full backs, on their "wrong" side. Neco does it better than most would but as you say it's still a bit forced.
At right back he gets caught out by the inside ball - between him and the rightside centre back, his left hand side. This doesn’t seem to happen when he’s on the left, maybe as on the left the inside is his strongest side?Neco certainly seems to play better at left back than right back
Completely this. His weakness is that ball in gap as you say and his strength is being a relentless terrier when defending. Being on the left supports his strength and mitigates his weakness. At right back he gets caught out by the inside ball - between him and the rightside centre back, his left hand side. Is the second one Jordan Henderson?I guess it all comes down to, do you want a Champions League version of James Perch who’s still a relative novice in his career at the age of 20 and by all accounts isn’t keen on leaving.
Or a solid experienced international midfielder in his prime, who’s been player of the season for a similar sized Premier League club before and won many other individual awards. Who is keen on leaving…..
35 and in his prime, would you say?Is the second one Jordan Henderson?
Absolutely, look at his cameo at the weekend35 and in his prime, would you say?
Sunderland fans must be loving the fact they signed Xhaka over Henderson, which would have been for reminiscent purposes mainly.Absolutely, look at his cameo at the weekend![]()
That's why Marinakis goes in and declares the player a as "mine" before tucking him under his arm and strolling out their offices. It’s getting all a bit “Yes, Prime Minister”.
“It's clear that the Committee has agreed that your new proposal for Douglas Luiz is really an excellent proposal. But in view of some of the doubts being expressed, may I propose that I recall that after careful consideration, the considered view of the Committee was that, while they considered that the proposal met with broad approval in principle, that some of the principles were sufficiently fundamental in principle, and some of the considerations so complex and finely balanced in practice that in principle it was proposed that the sensible and prudent practice would be to submit the proposal for more detailed consideration, laying stress on the essential continuity of the new proposal with existing principles, the principle of the principal arguments which the proposal proposes and propounds for their approval. In principle”

Wait til you hear that it no longer "SLAMS SHUT" either. Due to health and safety concerns, the transfer window is now equipped with a safety catch that allows it to slide slowly closed.7pm, what is this woke nonsense.
