Bit of an odd question, but any help would be appreciated...

Is Row I in front of, or behind, the pillars in the Main Stand??

Thanks
That means there is a high chance seats on Row I will be restricted view?
Hence them being unsold?

Pretty much every seat in the Main Stand has the dreaded pillar blocked view.

Yeah, my usual seat in A Block is affected, but it only blocks out a small area around the corner flag, I can still see about 90% of the pitch

I wish I knew where the pillars were, I mean what Row they were on so I could book tickets
(my Dad is a fussy viewer)

This gives you a bit of a clue - it hasn't got anything useful like the seat number on there (although the one by the tunnel is about seat 150, I reckon).

Thats pretty useful, thanks for that!

Basically, if you I a totally clear view, I'll have to sit in those seats in front of the wall... the rows are ZA, ZB ZC etc.

whilst they have no vertical obstruction, the fact that they are increasing level with the pitch means the your viewing over distances is obscured with the pitch markings disappearing.

You may not have a pillar in your way, but you tend to struggle to tell if a ball is in or out of play on the Clough side touch line.

Yeah, I sit with my son in the junior reds section. If you get the row at the back (next to the wall) you get a pretty good view and nobody kicking the back of your seat.

If I could get a seat on that row but in Blocks C or D, then they would be absolutely idea... near the halfway line, a clear view, and high enough up to avoid the problems Rich described.

Shame everybody else had this thought long before I did and went and bought all the tickets for these seats :(

Why don't you sit in another stand?

I just prefere Main Stand for a variety of trivial reasons.
Its either Brian Clough Lower or Main Stand for me- and whenever I have sat in Brian Clough Lower I've been annoyed that the sun is in my eyes. At this time of the year, sitting around the halfway line sets you up to be dazzled for the duration of the game.

Yup, impressive how they managed that, even back then. Gives old Wemberley a run for its money.

i went to Everton for the everton v's middlesborough cup game a few weeks back, i was there for the banter with some Everton fans.....not as a closet toffee fan....anyhow im pleased to inform that our ground is not bad for restrictions on sight, they have restricted views due to concrete support structures as well,

but the real problem is the fellani wigs, how people are supposed to see round them I dont know,

Infact I was asked to remove mine or sit back !!! :)
