Reds fans to sit in Lower Bridgford next season

I know it has been mentioned but Nottingham Forest have said that they are moving away fans to Lower Brian Clough next season so they don't have to fork out £30,000 on netting to prevent our 'hooligans' throwing objects at them. :)

Surely they can still throw stuff at them in Lower BC?

About bloody time, long overdue move. I wonder if Billy has had anything to do with this. Suddenly the club seem to be doing things the fans have been calling for years for!

No wonder my post count..

Good news if true though :)

I've only sat in lower Brian Clough once. The seats lean forwards and the sun gets in your eyes. f*** knows why Ebby has sat there for longer than I've been alive.

I've never sat in lower Bridgford. I'd definitely consider getting a ST there next season though if I wasn't at uni. It'll become the new place to sit for atmosphere.

If it does i may well move down there although if they keep the stewards they have with the away fans blimey.....

The away fan stewards will move around with the away fans.

I was under the impression that half of the stewards watching the away fans are from the visiting club anyway?

God knows

It allways seems as when theres loads of them they leave them alone and when theres a few they allways try and make a point.

If we do get it back we need a large following to really make some noise from their!

I'm not sure, but do you think many of the A-Block lot would migrate around?

They only moved to A-Block from Trent End when the away fans moved to Lower Bridgford, so what's to say they won't move again? It might take a couple of seasons but if this whole thing is true in about 3 years time the loudest part of the ground will be the entire Bridgford Stand.

I don't believe this to be true, simply because Forest have been so resistant to it in the past.

Would it not be cheaper just to stop Winnits throwing stuff?

Nah, I only throw 2p's* - it doesn't cost much :p

* this is clearly a lie, told for comedic effect :p

This netting business doesn't have anything to do with what can be seen here at Brammal Lane does it?

Is that just a dodgy camera, my dodgy eyes or is there something stretched right across the stands? Looks like its over the pitch actually, not over the fans.

If this is true then it will be categoric evidence that we've been bullshitted every time they said it was 'impossible' because of access etc.

Im sure i have seen 10p's being thrown before winnits!

That really would be a false economy, 5 times the production costs and they weigh less!

Really - Then can you answer why this was picture taken in your house before the start of the season and now it's likely empty.
