Reds fans in London

Yes I know it's 1.42 in the morning! I can't sleep I'm so nervous but the fact that someone on 606 directed me here was an absolute godsend. Defo going to Ritchiered's place later today. What could be better, other than actually being there, than hopefully watching the boys take us to Wembley with a pub full of reds? Gonna need a few beers to calm the nerves if this is what I'm feeling like now never mind 7.45pm tonight. See you all there. I'll be the guy doing the Peter Griffin Bird is the Word dance in the corner when Forest score. On my own probably.

Come an join us :)
Cheers all :) Couldn't make it on Saturday as I had a massive day moving into my new place but I'm definitely on for tonight. Right, Station at Victoria? Cool.

Will scoot on over after work.... might bring my missus along too (if she can stomach watching a game a with in a pub :) .

Come on Forest!!!! Make my day and take us to Wembley!!! (would be nice to watch a match there sometime real soon......)

Oh yeah, what's the name of the pub owner/operator? Bit new to the country coz I've only just arrived last Sunday.... (but I have been to a Forest game before. 1997 Forest 4 QPR 0 - Dean Saunders hit the post in the first minute)

Richie rang me earlier. Said something about free chip butties at half time? :snack:

Dickhead! Micks rang me early and apologised for getting only two tickets for the game, said he didn't want to go, and would I like his?

Joined this forum just to try and find somewhere to watch the game with some Forest fans. Looks like I'll be heading down to Victoria shortly!

Just wanted to say it was great to meet some of the new Forum Guys last night.

Hairy Red (Ben I think), Dave, Jon (JSTY3105), Adam and a few others I may have forgotten the names of. Although we did not get the desired result, it's always good to meet new friends! :)

Great turn out last night. Apologies if I don't name check everybody.....as I can't due to the amount of Kronenbourg I consumed.

Cheers to Richie for making the arrangments as well.

Had a day to recover the from the pain and have consoled myself with the fact that we are a season ahead of the 3 year plan Doughty mentioned when we went up from League 1 and that as Billy rightly said, we are not ready. Didn't make it any easier to take on Tuesday night but have dealt with it now. What I must say though is a massive thanks to Ritchiered for sorting the bar out. Great venue with a great crowd. Sh1ts on that Piccadilly sticky floored, bad food and even worse beer of a dive.

And get this for how fantastic Forest fans are. In the melee of celebrating the first goal my blackberry fell onto the floor. I only noticed when I went to the loo. Came bacvk panicing only to have somebody hold up the phone and ask who had lost a phone. Thanks to that man.

Finally a big wave to Tutts and Chilli. Both top men and looking forward to cathing a few London games with them next season. SOrry I didn't get to speak to any of the other posters on here but as I say there was a great crowd in and helped a little in easing the pain.

Here's to next season. Come on you reds!

Also have to say great atmosphere, agree with others cheers Ritchie for sorting.
Have told the missus she's now redundant seeing as I've now met like minded Forest drunkards.
Just hope she doesn't expect me to keep watching Boro games with her.....

Morning all,

I've moved down to Chelmsford recently due to work and was looking to see if there is a southern bunch I might be able to tag along with to a few of the away games down this way. I would go anyway and stand on my own but it's always nice to have a bit of a social along the way if possible :)

Are many making the trip to Palace next week?

Me and Daniel are both based in Brentwood. There are a couple of other Forest fans in the area

I'm going to the Palace game, but I'm going straight from work.

I believe Tutts has got together a gang that are going to Palace. :D

Have I?

I'm also going straight from work so won't be into the area till gone 7 but will probably nip to the Spoons near Norwood Junction for a pint first.
