Reading Players Released...

Reading have just released the following -

Club captain Graeme Murty, goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann, defender Michael Duberry and striker Leroy Lita.

Wouldn't all of these make good signings for Forest, all positions we need cover in, and all very good players !!

There is a reason why they have been released, they are on too much money and the club can't sustain their wages.

They would want too much money to play for us.

Although they would be good signings.

And when I'm talking about spelling and grammar as a single thing, it's is. Thanks.
But they're not a single thing... they're two different things. And you can't just say you're describing them as a single thing unless you're inventing your very own new set of rules for English grammar. Sorry to be such a pedant but, to be fair, I am an English teacher and not only do I know my way around a plural, but I also owe it to the world to save the unwitting from making grammatical boo-boos.

Hanheman would suit the goalkeeping slot perfectly. Not the greatest keeper in the league but most definately up there and far beyond anything Camp or Smith could offer us. Lita is a good player that should be playing regularly I wouldn't mind signing him.

Is Murty a right back? If yes then he is good too.

The same Murty that struggled to get into the Charlton side? No thanks.

And Hanheman would be a good signing, for County, he is to old for what we need and to be honest, has been the weak link in Reading's side for ages.

I take it you haven't seen him play much the last couple of seasons?

Most Reading fans I know want shot of him due to all his errors.

Football fans, knowledge of goalkeeping, hardly something we can rely on, is it? lol

Hanheman would and wouldnt be a good signing, I mean he's a cracking keeper and certainly is bgetter than hwhat we have but he wears short sleeve shirts and keepers just dont look right in them.plus i wouldnt want a short sleeved keepers shirt....

I think muurty would also be a good signing.

Also it might prompt sections of our support to sing "U-S-A! U-S-A!", which would upset me.

Not that I'm counting but this is the 54th time you've mentioned Hanheman is a waste of space.

For the record, I couldn't agree more. He is worse than Smith and about 8 years older. He's not exactly a fine wine so we should steer well clear of him and his overrated Reading mates.

This thread's only saving grace is that the spelling and grammar is good. Thankfully.
I'd have gone for a semi-colon after good, rather than a full stop.

Well that clears that up then....

That's because theres been 54 threads about Reading releasing him. ;)

Might now turn my attentions to why Murty is too old and Lita has a bit of an attitude.

Duberry just argus his own case!
