Just seeing what the turn outs going to be at the away pub next to the station in Reading, i know a few people are gna be there from around 12.30.
Its a big pub with a good away atmosphere if we can get enough people down there. Whats everyone thinking???????

The pubs called the three guineas and its on the right as you walk out of the station (part of the station building)
Busses leave from outside the pub to the ground (its a looong old walk)

I can't believe it's only Thursday.

Can't wait for a Leo Sayer on Saturday, haven't had one for ages.

Pity I have to endure a Forest match in the middle of it really.

Bet you're more exciting than I am, if you don't get to game very often!

I am getting the train from Paddington now so look out for Rice 80 and say hello if you see me!

Used to live down the road from Long Eaton. If I was still there I'd probably get the train to De*by then from there there's 2 or 3 trains an hour down to Reading I think.

Check National Rail for the times

Anyone know if children can get in here (I'm talking 5 mth old ones)?

Would like my lad to experience a bit of away day banter before I pack him off with the missus for the afternoon.

I don't imagine it'd be a problem. It's main crowd during the weeks are with people waiting for trains so I'm sure kids are allowed in and out. Theres normally quite a big outside seated area out the front - though its not heated.

Ah Reading.....actually not too bad on the eye as towns go, but part of the soul destroying, characterless, narrow minded, thoroughly pointless area of the country which houses the likes Luton, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Slough etc etc. Whose gaze are transfixed upon London and refuse to acknowledge their being any meaningful settlements in the grey and working class North. Men and women in chino trousers glide down the Thames, peering down their noses at the riff raff who have travelled from that alien nation where apparantley all men are black faced men emerge from the pits to go home and walk their whippet on a piece of string, before settling round the fire in their terraced house. Even the more football, working men types are still bland, characterless drones with crap hair, horrible accents and a love of travelling to collect their dry roasted snacks.

Apologies to all those fans in and around London, that's a generalisation but it's also often true!

Not making the trip myself, but to all those going please be extremely rowdy, never stop singing and generally stick two fingers up to their pointless town and club.

Your arguement has fallen down.

Those two places are both in the North.
