I often wonder about GFH because actually what is published under his name is often quite amazing (although not perhaps quite as much so as the other German guy born that year...) but then when you look a bit closer, a lot of it is borrowed, some from himself, but a fair amount from others (as was indeed common practice in those days) so from the sense that it's then dubious what work is actually his, then it becomes a bit more questionable how amazing he really was. Without wishing to cause too much of an off topic distraction on a football thread, plenty including whole books have been written on that subject. But it is good to see that JH appreciated another musician, as you said.
