Raising the noise

Special mention to Billy Davies and Lee Camp for getting the crowd going towards the end of the game.

When Billy came out to stoke it up, it was the loudest I have heard it in the Trent End for years.

Good work.

I was deafened in the commentary ! What was Campinho doing ? Billy doing that really seemed to raise the roof, and funny that the players just found a bit of extra energy to push oN !

It was great, I didn't see Billy egging us on but just camp, we just went mental and I wasn't sure why as I did not see! Was great! That's when my heart rate went down and I began to think it was in the bag.

im suprised savage didnt complain at the fact billy "could have sparked a millwall v west ham atmosphere!" Billy is a legend and a true red... cant belive how loud we were and the way the players reacted. we should be like tht all season and then, who knows.... the only way isss uppp

If the cynical 'stay at home' Reds fans came and added their voices to our INCREDIBLE support today, we could make the City Ground into an unbelievable fortress. People would not relish playing us. Even when we had our backs to the wall today, the noise from the Trickies was brilliant. Our fans have got to carry on being positive. Roaring out support works; booing and leaving in disgust when things are going against us doesn't. Today shows this. Trust me.

Billy was definately trying to emphasise this fact during the game

you could feel the fans begining to get on the players backs a little in A block just prior to camp and billy waving around the response as I have said is one of the best things i have witnessed all four sides stood up and sang there hearts out

We were the 12th man today.

Credit to the players, credit to Billy and credit to every single Forest supporter today. We were immense.

It was also brilliant how SHIT the Derby fans were.

We went 1-0 up so quickly.... and it was beautiful to look over and see 4,300 Derby fans stood in total silence.

We were mocking them, goading them, and more than anything we were getting behind Forest.

And we got no response. Their fans were terrible.

Maybe they were a bit better at 3-2, but I already knew the win was there by that point!

The noise at the end was absolutely awesome!

I didn't see Billy encouraging the crowd, only Camp, but it was incredible how the volume went up. Never heard th City Ground ground so loud. I'm sure my ears started to ring! It seemed that every Forest fan stood up and shouted. Great stuff!

The players needed that lift and it worked.

Well done to all!

I didn't see either BD or Camp gee us up, as I shout and jump about like a lunatic anyway (at the grand old age of 47!), but the noise was fantastic and it's probably no coincidence that we came back into the game for the last 15 mins, when legs would have been at their weariest.

Our away support is loud and - er - supportive, if we could rely on that at the CG we'd be laughing.

Even us seat boys in the Clough Stand got involved.
Was pretty awesome, hope to hear it again instead of the groans
