Raddy Last night

What a performance i thought he carried that midfield last night, He defended carried the ball and he was the source of service for Earnie and Dexter last night. He was full of running and never gave up running for the whole 90 minutes the little Pole ran his little heart out for the cause last night.

I think he did ok but was not helped by the fact that Kenna both ran and reacted like he was on morphine - he was clearly not up to another 90 minutes inside 3 days. I think he had to do a lot more running as a result and we lacked his creative influence, which lead to a lot of long balls from Wes and an inability to retain posession.

I think someone needs glasses. He was a passenger for 75 mins of the game (again). Its no wonder Mckenna looks knackered doing the running of 2 players. Will someone also tell him he can`t bend a ball into the top right hand corner. I`ve lost count of the times he`s failed now.

You've lost count because you clearly cant count past the fingers on 1 hand.

Raddy was excellent last night. He tried to do everything, and worked his socks off. He ran everywhere, and I dont think ive ever seen him cover quite so much ground. To top it off he made some excellent challenges as well.

Let's not apportion any blame to Raddy. For me we looked a spent force at half time and I really do believe that the combination of both the youngest & smallest squad in the championship has taken it's toll. Neither McKenna nor Cohen were 100% fit but with Moussi unfit Billy had no choice but to fall back on these guys as the engineroom of the team ( would you really trust McGugan to run the centre of midfield for 90 minutes? ). The key now must surely be to hold on to Billy - if he stays we will be in an automatic slot this time next year.

Did I not see Radi passing the ball through to Earnie to score our first goal?

I think he tried hard but I wouldn't go as far as excellent. He won't ever boss a midfield, he needs a platform to weave his magic from. Instead we gave him long balls from wes, a tiring partner, a headless chicken in tyson and an ineffective cohen. I don't think the ball stuck with dex enough either. He can pick a pass and beat a man but without good, quick sharp movement from the others his effectiveness will suffer

I thought Raddy played pretty well, but isn't the best defensively and so perhaps wasn't ideally suited to coping with Blackpool's three central midfielders. McKenna clearly wasn't fit, and I think that's where we really suffered.

I know I might get slated for this, but what would be wrong with giving Lewis McGugan a run? He can't be as bad as some people are making out...

here here and the same must go for Chris Cohen they never gave up and it was a pleasure to see them still trying their hardest that;s why we should all stay 90mins, what do people think the mass exodus did for the players confidence, who knows what could have happened.

Cohen is everything that is Forest and as a club why il be back yet again next year, the passion from the fans for 70 min was awesome even in the upper Clough it was electric fantastic, in the end we lost out to mistakes, not taking our chances over 2 legs and a ref who was never about to do us any favours, but hey it's Forest we never have a boring season and by rule of thumb we must be Automatic next year!!!

I personally think that we dont get the ball to Raddy enough. When he has the ball he is immense at skipping past the first tackle and laying balls into Dex and Earnie. He is never going to be the greatest midfielder facing and coming back towards his own goal but he keeps the ball well and is normally economical when he has it at his feet. Challange for many headers last night which he wouldnt normally do because i personally think he knew McKenna was struggling. Id agree with the 3 in midfield, McKenna and Raddy are both pretty short guys, we lacked any kind of height in the centre of the park, if Moussi had been on the field or even available then he would have given us the height advantage we desperately needed

I thought that was Raddy's best game for some while and he was actually having an impact late on too.

I was very impressed with the way raddy picked the ball up on a number of ocassions and just ran at blackpool pushing them back, the lack of suport on the flanks made these runs in-efective at times. but overall he had one of his better games

For a guy of his talent, and high opinion of himself according to some in Poland, the danger was always going to be that he would prance around the field, passing it nicely, but not putting in a shift, and Billy would never settle for that.

In reality that couldn't be further from the truth and I'm constantly surprised and delighted at how much effort he puts in, right up until the final whistle.

Raddy was , by far , our most creative player last night but unfortunately , when the rest of his teammates are not on par , it's kind of hard to do much.

I thought he worked really hard, he constantly chased back and was always wanting the ball.

More of the same next season please

He had a good game I thought. Worked hard, made challenges on the ground and in the air when his size was against him.

His passing was good, his dribbling was good. Don't think we could have asked for more. In hindsight, Cohen in the middle and Anderson and Boyd on the wings would have been a much better team since McKenna was so far off the pace.

I agree with those who thought he had a good game. He constantly wanted the ball and was always trying to make something happen when he got it. He played some very good balls into Earnie.

The only criticism I can send his way is that he quite simply cannot tackle and just seems to launch his whole body in the direction of the ball when he tries to. How he doesn't have a red card this season is rather beyond me. Also, he occasionally makes the wrong choice in going for goal himself when better options are available, but I really wouldn't like to see that coached out of his game.

Can not disagree with that statement. :)

i thought the midfeild went missing for most of the game , the space between the middle and the back four was massive, they always seem to be behind the midfeild.

just looked like the midfeild has never played together.

Raddy's game dictates that the midfield partner needs to sit and hold the ball allowing Raddy to play the free role.

Unfortunately, McKenna's lack of fitness meant the pairing didn't work on Tuesday.

Moving Cohen inside and starting Anderson would have been a better move in my opinion.

It would've been easier for McKenna, considering his lack of sharpness, to 'sit and hold', however he constantly got caught up the pitch leaving us wide open.

Mckenna has been off the pace since January. I dont think you can blame a lack of sharpness. I'm sick of his desire to kick a ball into the abyss when he is under no pressure whatsover. Raddy was good first half but they did well to keep him quiet the second.

i agree , the more of the ball majewski get's the better as far as i'm concerned , he is a very clever player (perhaps too clever for some of ours) and he creates far more than anyone else in the side , had a very good game the other night , set up earnie's goal & he also fed a great ball through to mcgoldrick near the end who shot lamely at the keeper , he's a fantastic little player who reminds of benayoun in the way he plays and i for one am thankful we've signed him up. really wish he'd had more chance to have linked up with boyd (another intelligent player)as they could have really clicked . billy being a bit stubborn on that one me thinks.
