Questions for Billy Davies @ The Approach

This Thursday (26th), Billy Davies is doing an "An Audience With..." evening at The Approach.

Since I have the night off work I'll be going to this. If it follows the usual pattern, Billy will most likely be taking questions directly or indirectly from the audience at some point.

For those who can't go for whatever reason: What would you like to ask him?

Can't promise or guarantee to get anything asked, but if you post your question below, I will certainly try & get it asked, and you'll have to do with the combination of scribbled notes & memory for the answers but I'll do the best I can (and I'm sure there's a few other LTLF-ers going who might be able to help?)

Between leaving Derby and joining Forest, were you made any other offers? What was it about the job at Forest that interested you so much and if there were other offers, why this one over them?

There was a strong story circulating that he applied for Charlton's vacant post, went for an interview and proceded to tell them where they had gone wrong, which players he wanted out the door and who he wished to bring in, then talked transfer budget, to see if this was possible. Charlton thought they had a good squad and Davies was wrong.

Yeah, Davies was interviewed for the Charlton job, that was before he took the Derby job, though. Charlton appointed Iain Dowie instead and the rest is history...

My question would be, given the chance and the budget, does he have the desire to take Nottingham Forest into Europe in the future and would he turn down other 'bigger jobs' in order to prove something other managers haven't been able to achieve by turning a small club into a major european force?
