QPR AWAY - Next weekend

First time to Loftus Rd for me, where's the best place to go boozing before the match?

I was thinking about getting the tube to Shepherds Bush and going round Shepherd's Bush Green.

There's a Wetherspoons and loads of other pubs round there, plus loads of places to eat.

My London geography isn't great, but I know it's near to QPR's ground. So - will it all be packed round there? Will pubs be okay for away fans?

Any advice would be great, thanks.

My advice is to head to the Walkabout on Shepherds Bush Green. Get the Hammersmith and City line from St Pancras to Shepherds Bush Market station.

We went there last year and it was fine for away fans, although we were advised to remove our shirts when we got back there after the game.

The Wetherspoons in Shepherds Bush isn't the nicest I've ever been to.

I went on a mini crawl there last year. Started at O'neils where we saw Ebby, then to Walkabout before finishing in the Defectors Weld, which is slightly more cultured bar, expensive but good ale all the same. All three are close to each other and a stones throw from the ground.....enjoy ;D

It's Tutts' favourite gay haunt but too far away from Shepherds bush to prove a temptation for next Saturday!

I heard that Tutts is going there the night before though, and hoping to find somewhere to stay the night ;D

Hey guys...Rs fan here.

If you have been to Loftus road previously, be aware that the Springbok(next to the ground´and previously an away friendly pub) is now strictly home fans only with tickets needed to get in.

Head for the green(Shephards Bush) ,the best two places to guy are O,Neils or The Walkabout. (4-5 min walk from the ground).

Im sure most of you know the score anyway.

Have a good day(but not that good). ;D

P.s You could have at least beaten the FakeHoops last weekend. :nowink:

Sheperd Bush Green is best,The Springbox on South Africa Road is a bit on the rough side.Experienced that last time i went in May 2005.

I went to O'neills last season. Good pub, just took them a while to serve everyone - Think they had about 3 bar staff working :(
