Pub for the Sheep game

As usual, prematch drinking is required.

Having spoken to a couple of people, the usual meeting place of Amicis is the location of choice.

I'll be hot footing it down there straight from work, so hopefully aim to be there for 6ish.

Anyone joining the group?

Obviously everyone is welcome to come along and say hello, new posters and old ones included.

Would be nice to meet you richcrouch. Some of my mates go in there. However as a creature of habit, I guess I'll go into the Stratford Haven - better beer!Although away fans go in, they are very strongly discouraged to sing - as they found out v Sheffield Wednesday. I think part of that was because we couldn't get a comfortable pint near (or in Hillsborough!).

Well feel free to pop down. I'm generally stood outside with Marlboro Light for companym and can easily be identified by the 'Rice 4' on the back of my shirt.

I'm getting into Notts for about 5pm, have got to pick my ticket up from the Globe but may well head down to Amici's for a quick pint and a Marlboro Light!

Me and Sean will be starting in the Lloyds Waterfront early but will walk to Amici at around 6. Would be good to see people again.

Aha! So you are the one who I sat behind at Pride Park.

You didn't keep your coat off for long though!

I did, I just put it back on when we moved up to the back of the stand and stood on the aisle for the duration of the game, coatless! :)

Hah, you were probably stood next to me then mate, I was in the first seat the block to your left, a couple of rows back.

Ah, fair enough.

I started out near the front, then we moved right up near the back and just stood in the aisle. Was a bit like an old school terracing situation!

Great when we scored though!

Standing next to the aisle at Citeh gave me the opportunity to jump and down and around like a fool when we scored.

I'm remembering just how much I hate Derby and anybody associated with that club.

Dan, hate is a very emotive word.....................and I think you use it here in exactly the way it should be used.

Yes, but it was impossible to get to our seats.

As has been opinted out before, had a steward asked me to sit in a designated seat, I would have done so, without arguement.

I have the afternoon off so will be in Bridgford for most of the afternoon.

I'll be there straight after I've delivered the last few remaining sheep heads. Ideally I would have got rid of them all a few weeks ago but seeing as we got them to a replay I thought I'd better keep a few in supply. I'll be glad to get rid of them to be honest, they're starting to rot and the resemblance to Commons is growing with each day that goes by.

I'm not sure if i will be in amici before the game as i probably wont get back to notts early enough. Plus i need to get to the TBI to collect my ticket off someone.

anyone know if Trent navigation is any good? i haven't been in since it reopened! :)

Myself and Rice 9 went in there for a quick pint before the Doncaster game (I think) because the Globe wasn't open and wasn't impressed tbh!

The beers wasn't good (I left about 1/3 pint) and its trying to be something its not when your inside. Doesn't feel like your in a pub more like your in a resturant waiting for your table.

Each to their own but I won't be going back again in a hurry
