Pub for Saturday

For those of us not lucky enough to get a ticket for the game on Saturday, I suggest we all find a nice little boozer to watch the game in.

Think it's going to be Southbank for me!

Is it not impossible to get near the bar and/or breath in there?

Not really no

Never takes that long to get served as they have so many staff on the bar

Atmosphere is unrivalled and to be honest its the only bar in the city that I class as a proper Forest bar

Pub for Saturday?

So with it looking extreemly unlikley that I will be able to go to Blackpool on Saturday I will no doubt be watching the game in a pub somewhere and was wondering who else will be up for watching the game and having a few drinks?

I was thinking the Southbank would be good atmosphere and beer and of course the nice bar staff :hey: ???

Yeah I've never understood why people think it takes ages to get served in southbank.

ok it may get busy, but they have plenty of staff on ...

I'll be in the new horn in hand/old speakeasy.

Not only can you enjoy the footy, with a desperado, really cheap beer and jaeger...you can also put the labrynth soundtrack on the jukebox after the game.

Cant wait- YOU REDS!

Anyone know of anywhere showing it where it would be OK to take a (10 year old) kid?

Southbank works for me-see you there!

Not sure what the child policy is, but hopefully someone can enlighten us?

Do they have real ale?

They do. Currently have the following on tap:

London Pride, Mallards Duck N Dive, Nottingham Legend & Wychwood Hobgoblin
Linkie

Kids aren't usually a problem but you need to get there early to get a table otherwise they'll get knocked about. Might be worth giving them a quick ring aswell just to make sure its ok.
