I'll lend you my helicopter and a dolly bird to go with it.

I wonder why the expression dolly bird has fallen out of favour?

You can use plymouth, newquay or exeter but I've had quick look and there don't seem to be any flights on sunday am. You'd have to travel on the saturday i think but there is plenty going on in plymouth of a saturday night:

You have my sympathy on this one. Its a horrible journey at the best of times but to travel from where you live makes it almost impossible. The decision to televise this one and move it to a lunchtime kick off on a sunday is a shit one. I'm not looking forward to this one myself but at least i can drive it without getting up at a ridiculous time.

it's not all bad, i am married, so it's a great excuse to have a Saturday night in Nottingham then do the game Sunday....i might have to square this one with the escape committee, see if i can have a night pass

I definitely won't be doing this one Eddie as it clashes with my niece's 1st birthday party.

Trying to work out if I'll be able to do the party and watch the game on TV.

Was abit worried that my niece's birthday party was going to be on the day of the Peterborough away game and really want to go to that one so it's not too bad.

Yeah i remember you talking about it. Worked out well for you. I doubt Sam or Ali will go to this given the finance involved and the fact its on tv. Looks like i'm Billy no mates for this one!

this is one of three that could be tricky, Coventry and Ipswich being the other two, both on a Tuesday.... have they laid tarmac as far as Ipswich yet ::)

For how much a flight will cost is there anything earlier and spending a night in a travel lodge or something?

Drag a few mates along and make for a boozy weekend in Bristol or somewhere round there.

I would seriously consider a saturday night stay.

Plenty of dirt cheap hotels, especially on the hoe which is right near the city center and the Barbican if a night out's your thing (just try not to stabbed on Union Street, or better yet, avoid it all together  ) and only a mile or two from the ground.

If your dead against that, then the stupidly long journey is really the only other option, but it's something id definantly consider.

Fair play to you, takes a special kind of supporter to do that trip!

Will you be out on the town on saturday night Em Jay? I'm actually tempted to get a hotel and travel down saturday afternoon

I'm going to try and get to this one Eddie. One of the lads at work is from down there so was on about going down for a night out Saturday then the game Sunday.

I'm based in Ripon mate. We're on leave now till the 2nd Sept but soon as I get back I'll work out the details with the other lad and if you can get to Ripon on the Saturday and there's a spare seat in the car down South I'll give you a shout mate.

Have you tried EasyJet to see if you can get there via somewhere.....Remember some tottenham fans did liverpool via Brussels a couple of years ago......Dont know if it would work but always worth a try......
