Ticket prices for the 1st round Carling Cup fixture with Bradford City are as follows:

Season Ticket Holders
£12.00 Adults
£ 6.00 Senior Citizens (aged 60 years & above)
£ 3.00 Juniors Under 16

General Sale Non-Season Ticket Holders
£15.00 adults
£10.00 Senior Citizens (aged 60 years & above)
£5.00 Juniors Under 16

Initially only the Main Stand and the Trent End Lower Tier will be open for Nottingham Forest supporters for this fixture. Due to stand closures for this fixture, season ticket holders will not have their usual seat reserved for them and seats will be sold on a first come first served basis.

Tickets go on sale to season ticket holders at 9am on Friday 24th July. NFFC members and Robins Reds from 9am on Wednesday 29th July and general sale from 9am on Wednesday 5th August.

Supporters should be aware that specific seating can now be purchased for all home fixtures by visiting www.nffcretail.co.uk

I bet we would be lucky to get 8k for this game if they let season ticket holders attend free of charge to league cup games they would have big crowds for games that normaly atract sod all, either way I wont be going its already cost me the best part of £600 for a season ticket and 2 match tickets for the wife
 
£12 is not that much if it was £10 for friendlies.

Wasn't going to bother, but changed my mind - plus Alex forced me to come and help distribute LTLF cards to people at the Globe :p
 
It would cost me £12 to go to and see Bradford City(L2) and it would of cost me £3 to see Stoke City(PRM).

I'm not/didn't going/go to either!

IMO the ticket prices for Bradford game should be the same prices as the Stoke and Birmingham games :)

It says: U16 £3 for Bradford but for Stoke and Birmingham it was: U18 £3.

I'm 17 you see. :D
 
Ah, so a very specific and personal objection :D

Which is understandable I guess.

Why not just get an U16 ticket and wing it?
 
Well, I don't actually want to go anyway but I what I was thinking of, if I did want to go it would cost £12 other than the £3 it would of cost me to see Stoke. ;D
 
I don't find Stoke any more of a lure than Bradford, to be honest.

It's Forest I go to watch.
 
I know we do the odd cheap game here or there throughout the season, however personally I'd like to see this applied to cup games aswell/instead. There's just something I don't like about seeing soooo many empty seats, and I'm no businessman, but if the crowd is going to be small anyway then you don't stand to lose a particularly great amount by slashing ticket prices to a fiver.

Cup games are a good way of getting to watch your team without the stress of League football where everyone is desperate for points. The games are often more open, you get to see teams as well as players you otherwise don't and it can often be a friendlier atmosphere for families to bring kids to.

£5 cup tickets for all I say, and lets give the cup competitions a real go. They pay you back when you progress and get the big draws.
 
I think there's a good argument for including the first league and FA Cup games (should they be at home) in the season ticket prices.

That said, gate fees are shared between the clubs, and ticket prices are agreed between the two clubs. If Forest said season ticket holders got in free then pretty much every Forest fan would get in free - because even those without a season ticket would probably know somebody who was and not bothered about going to the game.

This would severely deplete the cash Bradford get from the ticket receipted, so they'd never agree to it.

I know, me too. But what puzzled me personally is that Forest would charge me x4 more money to see Forest play a League Two team than it would to see Forest play a Premiership team. :)

Does the Globe alow Children in? As I was thinking of poping in to collect my membership card as I am away for the WBA game ...

We're in E-Block, Main stand - legacy really...it's where we used to sit before they made a chunk of the seats corporate, the bastards...then we moved to the Trent End....

I can have a bloody good time on Wednesay for just six quid.

Free swim at 7 o' clock, free bus ride to Ikea for free tea of coffee with my Family Card. Sit on a few chairs and relax on one of their settees for an hour (free) before getting back on the bus (free) to Ladbrokes for free tea and coffee until it's time to catch the bus for the 16 mile free bus ride to Nottingham.

Six quid ticket to watch my beloveds then back on the bus (free) then take a couple of prescription drugs (free) for a good nights sleep.

I wish they'd use the early stages of the cup games to entice new fans and reward the more loyal ones.

For example, maybe make it a KFAQ's game - but also, should we reach the latter stages and have a situation where demand outstrips supply, offer tickets to those who have gone to the midweek nothing games.

Or some kind of marketing. I'll admit to knowing nothing about it but I'm sure we can do better than slightly reduced ticket prices which probably haven't encouraged that many more people into going.
 
See above, they need to agree with the other club. Most other clubs will not want to discount tickets.
