Premier League Fixtures - 2026-27

But if you have a Forest membership you can get the Radio Nottingham commentary on every Forest match - this is exactly what I do. And anyone else who is overseas can also do.

Granted it costs €45 or something for the „Plus“ membership but a Euro a week for Colin Fray? Cheap at the price.
Yes, it’s worth checking out a membership and/or a Forest TV season pass. I have a core membership and a Forest TV season pass and between them I get a half-decent chance of getting a ticket for a home game, live radio commentary for every game and full match video coverage available a few days after the match. For the radio coverage, if the game is already being covered by Five Live, the World Service, etc, the Radio Nottingham coverage on BBC Sounds won’t cut out just before kick-off.

Having both isn’t particularly cheap but then again it’s comparable to the ticket price and petrol or rail fare for just one match, so I don’t mind paying it to get a season’s worth of Colin Fray’s commentaries etc.

I would pay any sum for Colin Fray, to be fair.

That annoys me more than there being no live TV coverage of the Saturday 3pm kick-offs, as I understand that is designed to help encourage people to attend lower division and non-League games. If I lived next door to the WFCG I could listen to the radio commentary live for free but because I live 100 miles away I’m not allowed to. I’ve never understood how that is justified.
It's because Radio Nottingham don't hold the online commentary rights. They are shared between the club and a limited number of games in the national BBC / Talk sport agreements. If it is a BBC game then they can unlock the local coverage. There's only two Saturday 3pm games in the BBC agreement so it's pot luck if our game will be one of them.

Thanks but yes, I know that’s the reason - it’s how they can possibly justify it that bothers me…

Well, if you are outside the UK then yes, that is a given. If you are inside the UK, it is a bit more tricky.

Only one clash with the Sadpies. 17/04/27, Forest v Liverpool / Saddies v Reading. A vast improvement on the last couple of seasons.

Half tempted to go to that.

It's a no risk situation. If they beat our kids, then they're expected to and it'll be fun watching them try to act like it's a big deal. Whereas if the kids win, then that's f***ing hilarious.
I think there will be a great turnout for that one.

As you say, we’ve got nothing to lose, if they don’t beat us itll be embarrassment of the highest order - if the B team have 10k Forest fans cheering them on it could be a great occasion.

You would imagine tickets will be cheap.

I was cursing my luck because we were drawn to play away at Liverpool on the day I'm arriving in Nottingham with the family. Well, if we were at home, with the change of KO time, we'd still be on the train from Glasgow at KO. Feeling a lot better actually. 😂

Knowing the state of our railways well, there's a fair chance that you'll still be on the train at full time.

Are you coming West Coast line or East Coast line?

Avanti West Coast, changes at Crewe. Leaves Crewe at 11.26.
