Pre-season friendlies 2026

Shame - our legs went after Wood's missed double chance (and then not scoring after the keeper error) when it was 1-1.

However, there is a lot to be happy with. McA seems to have bulked up at least on my old TV screen

I will rest easier though with some additional defensive and striker backups.

It's also odd hearing a commentators mentioning "Anderson" it is not one of us!

When an attacker decides to pull it back like that and curl one towards goal, I'm not sure that even the best defenders in the world can do much about it.

Tbh I disagree,I think it was pretty obvious what he was going to do as he'd ran out of space.

It’s all about learning. I’d rather get tested and give it a good go to see what’s going right and what’s going wrong.

Last summer it all went wrong and was a continuation of the end of that season. This summer is a lot more positive.
Night and day pre-season games performance compared to last season.

Legs have gone - we are not getting close to them - and then they bang on a load of subs knowing the game is won- however, really happy we played them as this is just the kind of game we needed and hope we can do the same again next pre-season.

Oh yes, and Jesus will have a cracking season (plus in my FPL team)!

Getting to like the shirt design (so much better than last year) but the thick stripes just make it look like a training top knock-off.
