Pre-season friendlies 2026

Might as well get this thread rolling as we'll be hearing about a few friendlies soon enough.

I've not heard much other than talking to my father in-law over the bank holiday and he said that Chesterfield are hoping to secure another game against us.

Looks like we're heading out to Portugal again for a training camp. Looking at the other Prem sides' early tour deets:

USA - Sunderland/Leeds/Liverpool(and Wrexham of course).
Hong Kong - Villa/Man City
Scandinavia - Man Utd
Australia - Spurs/Chelsea.

Australia again for Spurs? Why not when it set up such a successful season for them this time round?

Worked out well for Newcastle too...

I liked the Alicante/Murcia training camp they did with Cooper and Nuno. Mainly because it's close enough for me to watch them play. Even if the matches I've seen there have all been sh*t...

They've provided really good opposition for us in the previous 2 friendlies. I know the club have been impressed with Chesterfield and both on the pitch and the way they've treated Forest. Decent turnout too as we usually bring 3/4k.

Yep, I also (obviously) did Frankfurt and it was a decent atmosphere for a 0-0, lots of Forest there and a bit of a party too.

I'd gladly take scoring just 1 in pre-season then walloping 3 past the opposition in the first half of opening day again tbh!

How come we don't play Notts anymore? I remember Cafu scoring a worldie of a free kick in the friendly the season we got promoted. 4:17 into this . . .

I wonder if we'll have a friendly v Oly this year.... Last year we didn't, and in 2024 I was away on holiday and watched the goalfest on TV sipping a cocktail. It'd be nice to have it happen, in Piraeus and on a convenient date, please.
