He was mint in the end. In fact if memory serves Big Ron got us playing eventually and we won the last 3 games of the season, including beating Leicester when we sang Martin O'Neil's name for 90 minutes and he very nearly ended up taking the job.

I think they were the only 3 games he played in werent they? Big ron signed him on loan, and then for some reason didnt play him till we were officially relegated. At which point he put porfirio in the team and we won every game.

At least thats how my memory remembers it!

He was quality against sheffield wednesday and absolutely ran the show. Got subbed off for PVH and Big Ron got booed for taking him off.

He didn't play regularly for us because of his fitness. After he left he played in Portugals lower leagues and eventually retired in 2008.
