I've mainly done this for the Poll Stats.

Yeah it's to early right now for the new boys..
But would be very interesting to see on a specific numbers game how our votes compare.
As Die hard supporters It'd be interesting to see opinion at various stages of the season.

I intend to do this again at xmas and see how it compared to this one.
(Obviously it won't be the fairest test as exactly the same people won't be the same people voting.. & If more or less people vote next time I'll have to work it to a ratio).

I'll also say that I strongly considered Adebola as we sorely missed a player with those assets last season..

Tyson has always been a favourite and probably the better player so far regardless of running the flank,

Garner and McGoldrick evidently both have bags of potential and will surely only both go on to bigger and better things..

But I can see this being between Dexter & Earnie.
For now, I imagine people will vote like me, and stick to what they know in Robbie Earnshaw.

Gary

No wonder my post count..
Thats weird, I was considering creating a poll similar to this yesterday.

Despite the lack of goals I've always liked Tyson, seems like a real honest lad and is very exciting to watch.

Jesus, Currently Blackstock 26 votes, Earnshaw 27!

(Plus this comment keeps this thread near the top. Being as its mainly here for the Poll Vote and not so much comments it has a tendancy to not be seen)

Howdo you nar what his garden looks like?

Earnie's garden is well-renowned. People come from miles around to marvel at his immaculate lawns and fascinating array of exotic flowers.

I don't know what it is about him but I really think McGoldrick is a very good striker. He just seems to impress me a lot. I think he should start more regularly personally. However, I wouldn't want to be dropping the likes of Earnshaw.

Quite a predicament.

It is interesting that a 3rd of the voting isn't for Earnier or Blackstock.. and actually has been distributed fairly decently amongst the rest..

Most clubs would usually have a very clear winner/order of preference, and they wouldn't have anywhere near this many strikers.

Long term I rate Garner as he is so hard working and has an edge to him. Tyson has the all important pace but I cannot see him becoming a regular goalscorer of any note. As a provider/impact player he is right up there. Earnie is the one main natural goal scorer but needs others to make the opportunities for him. Having said that you would take him every time as a guaruntee of goals.

McGoldrick seems to have the potential and needs to establish himself. You know what you get with Adebola and we have been missing it but he is only a stop gap for the role that Blackstock should fill in the long term.
