Police in Upper Bridgford V1 today

I have been a season ticket holder up in Upper Bridgford V1 for quite a few years now and i haven't been so disgusted with how the police treated us today. We stood up for a few minutes and told us to sit down and when they scored this fan nearly got HEADBUTTED BY A COPPER! 5,300 or so Wolves fans stood up baiting us not even watching 1/2 the game. This other fan had a right arguement with one of the coppers and got kicked out. Did anyone else witness what happened today?

I was in with the wolves fans, and trust me, you werent the only ones treated poorly

Your stewards tried to make people sit down, and thought it they could get one person to sit everyone else would. You have to appreciate that every fan, at every away game will always stand up. Even your lot.

Your fat bastard steward was pushing people on the front row back whenever they stood up to cheer or anything.

Wolfo, Years ago, I am certain ( discussing this with my brother at half-time ), back in the dark days, Wolves paid out some serious money, for a couple of players, or involved in a couple maybe one in /one out.

One player was a decent buy, one was an absolute flop.

Talking about early seventies here.

be obliged if you could cast any light on this Thanks

from where I was sat in BC upper it all looked very heavy handed. But this is probable in light of the recent coin throwing/ spitting incidents. And down below for most of the second half it looked as though one whole section of the wolves fans were far more interested in venting frustration at stewards oppose to watching the football game.

The Wolves fans were getting short shrift from the stewards from my (rather good) view of them.

As wolfo describes, they seemed to be singling out individuals for standing and really hammering the point home whilst 5,000+ around them were doing the same. It was peculiar. Some of them reacted badly (and physically) and were removed.

It was a strange policy though, one I've not seen from the Forest stewards before who are usually content to let away fans get away with whatever they want.

Its pathetic really because how can you expect one fan to sit amongst 5000.
As for the cap1 issue, today they were more lenient and to be honest there was no hassle at all.
AND.... we got rid of SIT DARRRRRRRRRRRRN PLEASE!

I am thinking an account of ordinary Nottingham folk that went to the two European Cups. The whole experience from a family point of view. Now I need to set up a space where people could tell me about their experiences.

sounds no different to what happend against derby tbh, I can see it all kicking off by the last game of the season, if they are treating away fans badly aswell bristol city fans will love that one

Perhaps the reasoned arguments from the more sensible/mature forest fans are having an effect.
Surely the club realise alienating the most vocal supporters is a mistake................
