Can't Play Left-Back
That's quite sad, although I confess I never watched Notts TV. But I do like what it representated even if I never engaged with it (in my defence I've not had a working TV aerial for 10 years). The CEO retired from the Confetti Group a few months ago, so now NTU pretty much have full control, and they are cost cutting. A round of voluntary redundancies has just occurred, Constellations was closed last year, and now Notts TV.

Forest in general need their own TV show

Can you imagine a fly on the wall series covering the past 3 years

Idiot TV producers too busy chasing top 6 clubs finishing 3rd for viewing figures

Completely wasted, we are the most mental club in the country - absolutely no debate around that
Considering we have a film director on the board, I'm surprised we haven't seen a fly on the wall doc made.
Didn't even get a season highlights package when we were promoted. Completely missed the boat on that one.

You can't help but get sucked in by Matt Fordes infectious positivity for Forest. He's got me believing we'll go and win the bloody CL next season [emoji23].

Great watch this.

I'm struggling to agree with him, unfortunately.
It might be all the shit years having beaten the positivity out of me - it might be all the past examples of clubs comparable to us having a good year or two but then falling away...but I'm just trying to stay in the moment and enjoy the now.

This guy is the most click bait, ill informed, unknowledgeable guy I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. What a monumental cockwomble.

He's brilliant to listen too about Forest don't find his comedy funny really and have no intrest in politics which he seems to favor but seems a top bloke and very positive

Same. I don't align with his political thinking at all either and I'm not really into his comedy but as you say he always comes across as a top guy and he's as an enthusiastic forest fan and nut as you could ever meet. He's great value from a forest perspective on podcasts and football shows. Glad he's through his serious health scare too.

Will finish listening to rest of it later but got to the part where he was in hospital recovering and mentioned someone who took time to visit him, spent time just sat by his bedside talking, lifting his spirits up………..Stuart Pearce! 🤗

As always, here I have to recommend the book by his son, Gary, titled My Father and other Working Class football heroes, which is absolutely brilliant.

Seconded. A German friend of ours who was a PE teacher was visiting once and saw my copy. Next thing I knew she’d bought a copy as she thought it looked interesting and might be good to show her pupils. I can safely say none of my PE teachers ever introduced me to any German literature.

Two good old lads (imo) chatting about stuff.
At the end of the video they talk Forest and praise the atmosphere in the ground and how awesome we are as a team.

I love that gang of Aina, Elanga and CHO (surprised he didn't cameo at some point). Also as somewhere who speaks Norwegian so I can mostly understand Swedish. Yeah I feel for Elanga there I had no clue about the slang. Onion on the salmon did get a chuckle out of me though. Also he's right beer is Øl so beers would be øler or ølene (the beers), same in swedish and danish. No clue what that slang was about.

I speak Swedish so I knew one or two of those and knew the words if not the specific slang meaning of some of the others. I learned it in the 80s, though, so some of the slang I learned will have long since been superseded by more modern terms. I was curious as to who was asking the questions as it would be unusual for someone to be familiar with both Swedish and Hausa/Yoruba/Igbo/whatever and equally unusual for someone to do that level of research for a light-hearted football video.

And yes, the ‘gang’ is usually good value and I hope it stays together for a long time to come. Ole Aina has a career in light entertainment awaiting when he finally hangs his boots up…

I assume the slang came from tik tok. In Norway they have a dialect called kebabnorsk which I imagine they have a similar thing in Sweden which is where I assumed some of the slang comes from.
