Billy Davies' future as Nottingham Forest boss may be in doubt as he is still not completely in charge of transfer policy, with club consultant David Pleat also involved. (Daily Mirror)
 
Lazy journalism. We knew this ages ago, and I think it's a re-cycled story.
 
Tabloid crap, as much as some of you want him to leave he is here for a while yet regardless.
 
Just the same old crap, digging up stories and publishing them daily. Davies will be here for the long term.
 
I can imagine Davies taking over the transfer policy in the summer with Pleat kept on as a scout and nothing more.

Pleat has no interest in a full time role here and will not step in the way if it's not in the best interests of the club!
 
the mirror, ha says it all really, yesterday there chief sportswriter (yes they have one) was waxing lyrical about manure saying there the greatest side ever and he needs to get tickets so he can see the spectacle in all it's glory, FFS i think he came in his pants at one point

what a surprise - I'm starting to hate Billy Davies - he knew what he was getting when he joined. It's almost as if he likes arguing and generally being mardy with people.

I should point out that Davies is thew only person to (semi) publicly criticise the club whilst in charge. Yes he's an arrogant so and so, but the best managers are. Even Megson, who for all his faults didn't stand for bullshit, didn't openly criticise the upper echelons of the club. He's the type of bloke that this club has needed for a while and I for one stahnd by him.
