Playing for the draw.

So before the game it was for me a game that was very, very tough and it proved to be, but at 0-0 we switched sides between Ando and super Boyed just to waste time when Ando was subbed. What did you make of it as i was miffed, were we trying to ensure our playoff place instead of going for automatic? Negative play in my eyes and the first sign of it all season, however extremely happy with the result obviously and cant wate for tuesday to see West Broms game in hand go down the pan, you reeeeeds

Forest were quite disorganized in that period of the game.
A minute to get the ranks in order only did them well... I thought the substitutions yesterday was spot on. Raddy and Ando were running on empty, and there's nothing you can do about the McKenna thing...

I can not imagine a single instance where Billy would shift his tactics to 'play for a draw'. I refuse to believe he would, even if I heard him say so.

I'm absolutely sure that he will be playing every game for the win wishing to avoid the playoffs by securing an automatic spot. We may as well finish 6th as finish 3rd.

who cares if we are playing for auto or playoffs. Its a damn site better than the majority of shit we had to put up with last season.

Yeah i thought that, but as said a minute to take a breather and settle everyone down a bit was actually much needed, even with time running out.

What a ridiculous post, please delete it before you make yourself look even more of an idiot than you already do.

Thanks for that helpful comment, all I was saying is when we are winning at home you know who is going to be subbed as they go to the far side of the pitch, so we waste some time helping us to the 3 points, however I couldnt understand why they were doing it at 0-0 yesterday thats all. Great result in the end though.

Wasn't it Garath's cross that won the corner for the goal ?

I imagine the lengthy sub tactic was simply to disrupt Swansea rather than waste time.

It's Baggio

...and maybe to give Billy a little more time to re-organise.

Swansea were well on top of the game at that point so it made sense to disrput the play to break their momentum.

Plus the referee just adds on how long the substitution so we don't lose any time.
