players you feel sorry for?

Boyd, McGugan,Adebola,Garner,Lynch...................if they don't get some sort of a show against Ipswich,Blackpool,Plymouth and S****horpe in order to "rest" our better players for the inevitable play offs then they'll be out of billys future plans for sure in my opinion (i reckon Boyd already is !!)......Smith is a perfect understudy for Camp so no need to feel sorry for him and i applaud him for being loyal to the reds.

Garner, great talent. McGugan - always out of position, needs to play off the striker.

Can't see Boyd staying here. Billy clearly prefers fast players who'll get back. Though, if we don't sign Raddy, maybe Boyd could play in his place.

I think if there comes a day where we can't be caught by fifth place then Billy will begin resting players like Gunter and Cohen, who have had long seasons. Then I expect we'll see more fringe players.

Don't really feel too sorry for any of them. Garner may count himself unlucky to have not played more minutes in his favoured position, that's about it.

I feel sorry for McCleary to more than those lot to be honest (with the exception of Garner). He works his socks off and does possess that genuine quality which can really scare defences. I think it's quite telling that in those "team mates" sections on FP they always refer to him as being one of the most skillfull players at the club.

None really, they're on huge wages compared to me :(.

Only one I have a twinge of sorrow for is Lynch, he had a promising career ahead of him when he was at Brighton and feel he was probaly duped somewhat when he came here - by us or his agent.

He's had several injuries recently, which is why he hasn't got back in.

Garner for me. He's probably played about an hour up front all season, this is after last season where he showed plenty of promise as a young striker at this level and some very good finishes. I can't understand why he doesn't get more of a go, especially when you consider some of the performance of those in front of him.

Yeah I'd like to see him get a starts up front instead of Adebola or McGoldrick if we can in the last few games.

Boyd might as well go back, i prefer Gaz Mac..and probably more and more people will over the coming weeks.

I still do not believe that boyd was one of billys choices and was a signing of pleats I also cant see him completing the, suggested perm move at the end of his loan spell either

Billy said something along the lines of 'Glad they've taken notice of my reccomendations' when he signed.

Although he also said he wasn't 1st choice.

Dotn feel sorry for any of them Adebola has played as many games as anyone could have expected, McGugan hasnt been good enough when started, Garner obviously hasnt been doing the business in traning. Lynch and Boyd have maybe been unlucky. Lych with injuried and Boyd I know has had a few niggles.

I hope people will start realising how good McLeary is going to be. Iv said all along, he always provides a good ball into the box and can beat his man. Anderson can start a game well which Gaz Mac cant but he doesnt have anywhere near the final ball McLeary has.

I feel sorry for Perch. Here, there, everywhere. Has a great game against Newcastle at RB, then dumped back into mid on Sat and then back to the bench. Can see him leaving to another club in the summer at this rate.

MacCleary could be our star in the play-offs....
Feel a bit sorry for Garner and Perch. Don't feel at all sorry for Lewis, seems to have a bad attitude. Half time yesterday, all the subs got straight out of the dugout and started messing about and warming up, he just sat there on his own. Doesn't seem to be a "team" player :(

i feel sorry for garner as i have always liked him, i couldnt dee the point of bringing in mcgoldrick as he effectivley does the same role as garner but garner puts 110% effort in. mcleary was shocking yesterday, whenever he had the ball he looked like a rabbit in headlights, shocked and confused, then ran into the centre of the pitch instead of down the line!

I think that could be to do with his fitness more than anything. It was only 2 weeks ago he left 2 successive games with an injury.
Billy seems to really like perch, so no doubt hes trying to ensure hes available as at least an option for the play offs.

I cant see chambers being picked ahead of him at RB for any other reason :)

Other than any unfortunate injuries, I don't really feel sorry for any player.

They are selected for the starting eleven upon pure credit and ability and failure to make it means that they're either not up to it or they're not putting in the effort. I'm sure there are other reasons why players are or aren't selected but that's the game.

If you're the best at what you do, then you're in the squad.
