Big discussion boozer tonight guessing average forest player wages per year plus transfer/match fees etc also Biillys take home, wot U rec

Earnie is our top earner by a fair distance on around £15k apparently. Camp, Gunter and McKenna are supposed on around 8 or £9k a week. Would think our average wage is about £6k.
 
Earnie is still top earner I imagine at was what rumoured as being 15-20k per week.

Very few of them will be on more than 10k pw - Mckenna and Camp perhaps. Everyone else will be on something between 1k-5k with a few being 5k-10k i.e. Blackstock, Majeski, Moussi, Tudgay.

That is me speculating anyway.

Robbie Earnshaw might not be our top earner by July. Our dozy board may have given him away for free along with Moussi & Tyson, seeing as they have already decided to just let Wilson's contract run out rather than recoup some money for him now.

If Robbie is our top wage earner by 3k for instance, and Forest don't get promoted, then the board maybe thinking about not keeping him on, to save on wages.

It would be stupid of Forest to do that though, surely better to have two contracts drawn up dependant on whether Forest are in the prem next season or not.
 
I think the average first team player is on around £4-6k a week basic, aren't they hard done too!
 
Forest are probably like many clubs in that - at this level - it isn't just about basic pay.

There are appearance bonuses, win bonuses, goal bonuses, and others, such as "image rights" (payment to a player when they are used in advertising or promotional stuff).

So whilst a player might be on a certain basic wage at Forest that can be topped up sometimes significantly.

Of course I know nothing of Forest actual contracts but the above is quite common in football (and not just here; I remember an interview with Edgar Davids when he was at Barcelona, and his "basic" wage was less than half what he actually earned!)
 
Davids must have been on a very basic wage when he was at Palace, before bennett knocked him down a peg or two.
 
There appears to be a Twitter bonus riding this week. :rolleyes:
