Interested to know who people expect to be the star man this year with the new signings, improved fitness and hopefully an injury free season?

Marshall.

Jack Burkitt
I think its best to wait until the seasons at least started before we even consider who's a candidate for the title.

But I think Earnshaw, Cohen &/or Anderson will have good seasons..

Was on about this the other day.

Got a sneaky feeling McGoldrick will have a stormer, so I chose him.

Also think Anderson, Camp and Cohen (again) will all star.

I believe Adebola will be the unsung hero of the season. It's almost certain that he'll be in the starting lineup.

I honestly believe a number of our players will perform above and beyond all expectations for us this season.

I have voted for McGugan. We all know how good a player he can be. Don't get me wrong, he is also one of our most frustrating players and when he was dropped last season I was pleased.

However, he has shown great maturity in coming back from that, improving his fitness and looks extremely fit and in excellent shape. Hopefully this, coupled with a new belief in himself and them team, could see him really living up to our, and his, expectations this season.

Camp will hopefully be nowhere near getting player of the season, as thatd mean our outfield players were poor. I mean Gerrard only won it because he was the only good thing in a very poor season.

I expect a lot from Mcgoldrick. I'm looking forward to him proving any doubters wrong.. I went with Ando as I really dont think we saw the best of him last year.

I see McGoldrick as the new fallguy for the fans. He's going to be slagged off when he's shooting from everywhere and not hitting the mark.

Me too. I think, potentially, he could end up playing at a top Premiership team.

:D :D :D :nowink:

He has a long long way to go before he will ever wind up in the premiership. Before he can even dream of the premiership , he has to make sure he can secure a place in the starting lineup first and Anderson is standing in his path.

Adebola on for the first hour to batter the defence a bit... then put Tyson on and watch his pace come into its own.

McCleary, as mentioned, could have a big season. If he can stop just being an impact player coming on from the bench........ and start being a constant threat from kick-off, then he will be a great asset.

I voted for Earnshaw though. I reckon he'll get much better service this season, and should be getting a 1 goal per 2 games. When was the last time we had a 20+ striker?? I think Earnie could hit 20 this season and become even more of a fan's favourite.

Actually quite excited about our attacking options now. Genuinely.

Hence why I said "potentially"...

Matt Thornhill.

This is the season he goes from being on the periphery to being the star midfielder that we build our team around.

Either that, or he's off to Notts County on loan shortly.

I think this will be McGugan's year. Billy is instilling him with a work ethic to go with his flair and skill. Just watch him go.

Difficult to win player of the season by sitting on the bench.
And I doubt the fans would vote for him if we didn't concede all season and he spent international weekends finding the cure to cancer
