When the play offs start i don't think i will be able to control my nerves, don't know what everyone else is going to be like? I get bloody nervous if i watch the lads live or on the tv, and if we get to Wembley then god help me!

sing my heart out for as many mins as it takes in the hope it helps us over the Finnish line and drink myself sober.

This season has been a fantastic achievement.

This time last year we were desperately still trying to scramble clear of relegation fears.

To do what we have done this year is way beyond the expectations of all but the most one eyed supporter.

We should congratulate the team, the manager and all the club officials for giving us a season to remember.

We, as supporters, by and large didn't expect to be in the playoffs, let alone with three games to go. Everything now is a bonus.

No need for nerves this time, we can enjoy the ride, who knows where it might take us, we've already overachieved.

Thanks to the club for really giving us something to cheer this season.

^What he said. Can't wait for them to begin this time, and if the teams in the playoff spots stay as they are (Cardiff,Leicester and Swansea)then I'd quitely confidently be fancying us this year

Erik, I agree with everything you've said, but I'll still be shitting my pants during the playoffs. :)

The playoffs are rape of a football supporter's heart.

Personally I reckon the only way to handle them is to ignore them until the game itself, then chew your fingers down to the knuckle for however long, then get on with your life if we don't win.

God, they're profoundly awful aren't they? It's like England being in a World/European Cup semi, only worse.

For the days leadin up to each game I'll be a bag of nerves and probably quite stressed about it. Then when the game kicks off I'll just sit back and take it on the chin

I am not really that nervous about it. The play-offs to get out of League One was more nerve wracking. More so as I was out of the country for them (I was in Cyprus). Getting out of League One and back into the Championship as soon as possible was so vital. I don't think that I am that nervous this year as I was not expecting to be where we are and just getting into the play-offs is a huge achievement and promotion this year would be a bonus. I'd be okay with another season in the Championship as long as the squad was built upon to challenge for top spot.

it's the old butterflies in the belly and the willing of the clock to get to 7.45pm when you wake up in the morning that gets to you,the snappiness at home and the can't be bothered attitude at work cos your clock watching and the hoping that there won't be any traffic jams or bus breakdowns during the day which could knacker you up getting there.........the worse must be hoping your missus dosen't go into labour on the day of the second leg home playoff!!!!.......where would your loyalties lie if that scenarion happened!!!!....crivens!!!!!

I'm normally quiet about these things but starting to become very confident. Rest key players in these final weeks and start believing we can bloody win the last 3 important games.

Being a Forest fan isn't easy but I bloody love it.

Normally i'm a bag of nerves but i'm weirdly zen about this (for now at least). Quietly confident too though i know it can go tits up, i honestly believe if not this year then next we will go up

Question - so far and as the play-off places go, have we not bettered all of them in the six matches played. Also, people talk about Blackpool making a late run - well, we battered them at the CG and ran out unluckily losing. If we don't reach the final, we'll only have ourselves to blame. Then, we need a little luck and a lot of spirit. Never say die!

This year we have the luxury of a win/win situation following what has been a tremendous season. If we go through to the final and win it ........ very very very happy. If we go through to the final and lose .........gutted but still happy. If we don't make it to the final .......disappointed but still happy.

However this season ends it will not be without a jiggle and a wobble for sure. :)

We've drawn twice with Cardiff, been beaten by Blackpool (wouldn't say we battered them, but we probably didn't deserve to lose), have an 'aggregate' lead over Leicester on scorelines, but have taken the same number of points from one another - we've definitely had the better of Swansea.

So to answer your question, no we haven't lol

Quite frankly, I think we should play our reserves for the next few games while the first team while the first team spend their time resting up in oxygen tents listening to calming music and being loaded with Powerade.

Don't think I'll be that nervous to be honest. Getting promoted would be an unexpected bonus to what's been a rather good season.

Ive just looked at the days in which the games took place from a few years ago. Seems pretty handy for us as we would play away on a Sat/Sun and at home in midweek.

Wouldnt fancy a trip to south Wales on a Tuesday night.

I agree in some cases but we need to keep momentum and confidence high. Match fitness is important so maybe we rotate everyone and try a few new tactics in a competitive environment rather than just sit back and relax.

I can't believe that Billy will be turning up to our three remaining league games with any attitude other than a winning one.

Yeah, I saw this bloke drinking a Bovril in the Clough Stand, he said he'd seen it coming from the start of the season.

Playing fringe players may have more of an effect though; they will be desperate to prove they can offer something to us in the play-offs so will probably be more motivated than our regulars.

our away form worries me i don't know which i'd prefer the way leg first so we know what we have to do at home or the other way round
anyway Billy has got lots of experience in the play offs so i see a wembley appearance on the cards which would be nice because i don't see myself being able to go there very often with Forest them days are long gone
